Daughtry Muzik
I just listened to the new CD from the group, Daughtry (i.e. Chris Daughtry from American Idol and whoever they hired to be is backup band) and my thoughts are that this is probably the best you are going to get to hear from him. I feel like he was good enough to make it on his own without American Idol, but since he comes from the show they basically now own his soul. The liner notes may give him credit, but the sound of the music just has a manufactured feel to it like someone handed him lyrics sheets and said, "Sing these.". I feel like his management even admits this further because it seems to be being marketed as a pop album instead of a rock album, at least ITunes has it listed under pop. All that being said, it's still a decent CD so if you were a fan of his from the show, this is probably for you.
