New Job...finally.
Well it finally happened, just under three months later, I found a job. Yep and it is just the job I wanted. I'm sure it will be boring and doesn't pay as much as some of the other jobs I was applying for but it is right downtown is 8-5 and gives me my oh so precious weekends. Plus it seems easy. "Welcome to AAA, how can I help you" That will be me alright. I am going to be the front desk person at their downtown office. Oh the excitement.
The downside, I'm not sure if I will be able to continue to volunteer at the American Domestic Violence Crisis Line. I just started volunteering yesterday and am going back again tomorrow, but I don't think they are open after five and that is when I will get off work. :( I'll have to talk to the director about it and see what we can work out. I really enjoyed doing it yesterday. Maybe I can work from home or on weekends or something.
More good news: Lost is tonight and I am going to Eugene this weekend! Both of which make me super duper excited. So I am going to enjoy my next few days of joblessness and then, come Monday I will be a working woman once again. Yay for me!
