Well! Since asking questions is so fashionable today...
Why does this City exist? How does it select its inhabitants? Is there a pattern to the curses? Are those affected by curses chosen at random, or is there an as-of-yet unrevealed order to selection? Why is the carousel so well-guarded? What is its function? What happens if the carousel is destroyed?
What, precisely, are the deities? How are they necessary to the City? Are they responsible for the curses, or are the curses the doing of a greater power?
How do the dead reanimate within the City? Why does the City bother bringing the dead back? How do living and dead coexist so neatly? What are the biological processes involved in the reanimation of a corpse?
Where can I purchase a decent blueberry scone?
Raven--as amusing as it is to watch you and Van Helsing have at it with swords, I suspect you might find a different weapon more to your liking. I've made something for you, and you may as well get it before your next lesson. It is, of course, a weapon Van Helsing has considerable experience with, so he can show you how to operate it.
