I cannot understand how the hell John Sheppard didn't manage to get his ass kicked out of the Air Force, like, seven times before he got sent to McMurdo. Because the j'accuse! Pointy Finger is not, I suspect, something that goes over well with most military leaders.
I was going along nodding, nodding, smiling because yes, that's how I feel too, and then I got to this part which made me laugh out loud. It's true that the fact that he's lasted this long is sort of a miracle, but it just makes me love him more. *g*
Between this and your comic, I may have to friend you. I can already tell I like your brain. *g*
8. Someone needs to screencap the bit where Rodney's laying on his stomach in the labs and working on his laptop. Because damn, Dr. McKay's lookin' good in that scene. I approve of his borrowing one of John's black t-shirts. They look good on him.
Ask and ye shall recieve: http://milenaa.livejournal.com/145916.html HAve fun, also, obligatory shot fo Rodney acting like an utter dork on drugs. VERY Cute, go look. [also, what's our standing on het pairings? on slash pairings?]
Awesome caps. :) Hee. I love the "let's leave the bad puns to you, and the brilliant science to me" one. 'Course, that may be just because I love DH's hands, but whatever.
As far as my general pairing sympathies go, I'm usually a McKay/Sheppard type person, but I do read the odd het story as well. (I have a bizarre fondness for Rodney/Teyla? I don't understand it, either.) I figure I read so much slash nowadays because I burned out my het appreciation after a couple of years in HP world and an earlier stint in the X-Files fandom (before it jumped shark, when I was a wee fangirl of, like, fourteen).
Then it is my solemn duty to introduce you to another het pairing. [and spread the love] http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=moon_landing&keyword=Wacky+Adv+of+Mad+Scientist+%26+HellSpawn&filter=all that is Rodney/Vala. [and I totally understand your love for Teyla/Rodney. The genius one needs love] Also a McShep [I'm lazy] and I have some thing up on my lj and on flashfic, could you please check them out? I've read some of your Tim/Dick stuff, but sadly I don't know the fandom, but the feelings behind it are amazing.
