This is part of why I hate snow.
So, you know that Snowpocalypse that keeps popping up on the news?
I has it.
We got three feet - yes, thee feet - of snow between noon yesterday and nine this morning. That's a stunning amount of snow, ladies and gentlemen. I also happen to hate snow with a somewhat burning passion, so it's not my favorite day of the year.
Also also, the kid we usually hire to dig us out still can't get out of his own house, so... I've been shovelling. Today is not my friend.
On the hilarious side of the snowstorm, this happened:
We have these lights around the walkway - I think they're nine or ten inches tall each. This photo was taken around ten last night. (You now can't see them at all.)
The bright side of being so snowed in I can't think straight: I've gotten some serious work done on a massive thing I'm writing. And I might get more done tomorrow since, y'know, I can't go to work if I can't walk to my driveway.
