MWAHAHHAHAH! YES! Boba Fett is the man! And all that crap George Lucas did in the prequels that involved *sneer* Jango and Boba... LALALALALLALALA never happened :P

Anyways once again I find myself at the computer lab procrastinating as always heh. Anyways i'll get to that in time to turn it in. Anywho the week has been kind of slow, and i've been pretty bushed for no reason that i can put my finger on particularly. Yesterday got crazy for a bit. I got out of History class and remembered that i needed a Charcoal Pencil and a White Charcoal Pencil, so i dig around in various pencil boxes, drawers, etc looking for one... End up having to look up a Michael's on mapquest, cruise down there find a pack of em $6.00 for 4 pencils *shakes fist/grumbles* by this point i have like an hour til class. I walk up to the front of the store and there are these massive lines! >_< i mean normally i wouldn't care but it's like more or less an hour drive to get to class and i like to be there on time. Anyways whilest i was browsing around for the pencils i was thinking to myself maybe a place like this wouldn't be too bad of a workplace, I rescended that thought the minute i got into the lines to pay... There were all these old ladies like majorly bitchin about this and that, there was this one pair that kept a cashier busy for 15-20 minutes over some bolt of cloth... yeah i wanted to beat my head into a pulp on the closest hard surface, and i was just in line. I would've been going nuts if i had to deal with them from behind a counter. Anyways after what seemed like an eternity I finally got out of there and on the road. Drove like a bat out of hell to class, think of Cruella DeVille at the end of 101 Dalmations if you kind of want to get the right mental image or that goofie short with Mr. Hyde and Mr. WHEELA! Funny how Disney has two of the most iconic road rage cases in my minds eye...

Anyways I more or less got to class on time 5-10 minutes late is my guess, no biggie and i got the pencils so crisis of the day was averted :P. Anyways the still life i worked on in drawing yesterday is coming along pretty good, this one guy in my class was like "Man that is so awesome! You draw like one of those guys at Bush Gardens" I got the groundwork for my still life done real fast, but that kind of put a smile on my face ^__^ lol what can I say it's nice to get comments once in awhile. Mrs. Mansfield asked me if i'd taken drawing classes before too, so i guess thats a good thing. Got to play a little Jade Empire yesterday too (thats the latest game i've checked out). I'm enjoying it so far, but i've only gotten to play like say the first 50 minutes or so. It's kind of like KOTOR meets Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, i have a feeling this one is going to be pretty fun. I use this fighting style called the Leaping Tiger School or something and it just looks awesome, especially if I do the power attack XD.

Got a Foreign film from the library entitled Marooned in Iraq, that i needa watch tonight, i have to return it tomorrow (and no it has nothing to do with the War, it was made before the first Gulf War). Oh! that reminds me watched the new Appleseed over the weekend, it was awesome. Geneon's CG animation kind of has a different taste to it from contemporary Japanese animation but it's all good it looks wonderful. The story was good too, makes me want to go out and reread Shirow Masamune's manga and watch the original anime :P Oh and on a kind of cool but awkward note my Dad came down while I was watching it and actually sat down, watched, and enjoyed it. The odd thing about this is my Dad has never really taken an interest in any anime he's walked in on me watching before, in fact if it's someplace like the family room he more often than not starts making up his own slap stick out takes. So that was cool, he said he liked it better than any of the prequel Star Wars movies, and he enjoyed the CG look. So that was interesting to say the least. Oh this morning in myth class, we went over the "Dark Lord of the Underworld" archetype XD That was awesome, the last say 15 minutes of class or so was left to discussing various "Dark Lords" in pop culture lmao that was so uber! Everything from the Goblin King aka David Bowie from the Labyrinth, to Shredder, to Mum Ra from Thundercats, to the Punisher, to Dirty Harry, to Sin from FFX, to Vicious from Cowboy Bebop... the list went on and on, I had raised my hand and mentioned Griffith from Berserk lol felt really really dorky though because i believe I was the only one in the class who even knew what Berserk was let alone the fact that i'm like a diehard fan XD, ok there are a couple major things that come up in almost all examples of the "Dark Lord" here are 4 big ones:

1). The Dark Lord is almost always garbed in some sort of Bandages/Cowl/Cloak/Robe, most typically Black. Also Black is the color most typically associated to the Dark Lord

2). Most have an Animal Familiar/Symbol

3). Most have a Weapon of Punishment

4). Most have a Rival or Rival God

Thats just a quick break down, and there are many other factors and interesting things. I love this class, but anyways for Griffith he fits the little quick list.

Griffith

1). In his demonic "Dark Lord of the Underworld" form, he's a black winged creature

2). Animal Familiar/Symbol- The Hawk (more specifically the White Hawk)

3). Weapon of Punishment- Rapier

4). Rival/Rival God- Gatts (main character of Berserk)

So yep yep, that was lots of fun... and i still need to do my HTML homework >_< Posted a little comic/sketch on DA of that run in with the fatso DOOM 3 zombie, it looks pretty funny, might color it later. Christian said he wanted to try coloring it too. He did a little demo in paint that didn't look too bad, so i'm curious what he'll do in PhotoShop. I started toyin around with colors too, but i still got alot of work to do with it. It would be kind of cool if eventually I could get a webcomic running ^__^ I don't know how realistic that is at the moment, but we'll see ;D maybe if i learn enough in HTML and get down some kind of system for getting strips done, refined, and colored. And yeah i really need to get to school so i'ma stop here. Keep you posted. ~teh Bedhead Zombie

:Edit: couple haikus i came up with on the way from and to the campus

a wire canopy
Blue-Six prowling; sun kisses
an asphalt jungle

dancing vales, the wind's
rhapsody of dissonance,
whispering... sweet fate
