Thankful day #14
PEOPLE! Tomorrow is the MIDDLE of November! The middle I tell you! Halloween was like three seconds ago. (Well, to a person who never made it out of February really)
Today I am thankful for Tootsie Pops (and no they aren't paying me anything, though I would happily accept a lifetime supply of tootsie pops). There may or may not currently be a secret stash in my desk from those giant Halloween displays.
They remind me of being small. I still always look for the Indian, because there was a thing when I was small, even though it probably was just a playground urban myth.
It's the smell that gets me and transports me back.
So, Thanksgiving, only the best holiday of the whole year, is coming up. I have no oven and no idea what food to make. I guess I should figure that out. I mean, it'll be here in like three seconds.
