[Age] at least several thousand years old; appears to be in his mid-fifties to early sixties.
[Canon] Legacy of Kain
[Point in time taken from canon] after he is possessed towards the end of Defiance, and after the fight with Raziel. (minus being possessed of course)

[Background]

[Personality]Janos is eternally patient and pious. He remains steadfast even though his entire original family, friends, peers, and all others of his race have long been dead, either by being murdered or by suicide. His sense of duty to the Reaver and to the one he sincerely believes to be the savior of his vampire descendants transcends the loneliness and pain he endures on a daily basis. He views the blood curse as a small price to pay for keeping the Hylden trapped within their prison. He has no idea that he was deceived by his own god, being an incredibly devout man--and given the nature of his faith he is also very fatalistic. ( ... )

[Abilities]Janos has strong powers granted to him by his curse, but he hardly uses them...he will defend himself if attacked, but he will never instigate anything directly. His claws and talons are formidable weapons on their own, and his fangs can do serious damage as well. He is stronger than a normal human, and of course can fly, but his vampiric traits also grant him a bit of psychic ability. His telekinesis is by far his most powerful ability, allowing him to blast opponents and even stone objects great distances away from him within a ten foot radius. He also seems able to summon strong gusts of wind magic...all abilities that once he was possessed, the Hylden general seemed more than happy to use against Raziel. He has been seen using his wings as a shield, but given the fact that he was possessed and the structure of even normal bird wings, it is unlikely that the Hylden actually cared if Janos' wings were fractured or even broken. While possessed Janos also used lightning magic, but given its green color it's likely that this ( ... )

...By its very nature this question is...rather blasphemous. Please forgive my bluntness. By His very nature, God is perfect, something we lesser creatures can never even begin to approach. Only by the turning of the Wheel of Fate are we rendered worthy in His sight. Who among mortals can ever hope surpass that which is eternal?

Congratulations~ You've been accepted into the RP! Please follow the following instructions so you can be ready to hop in and join the fun.

- Create a character journal (if you haven't already)
- Join somarium, somarium_ooc, and castleofdoom. Joining spamarium is optional!
- Comment on the Taken List and Contact List to be added.
- Comment on the Friends Add and follow the entry's instructions to add/remove characters into/from your friends list.

For the following two steps, please use an LJ-Cut and the 'Date Out of Order' option. If you do not know how to do so, refer to this post. This is just to prevent f-list flood spam.
- Fill out the Profile meme and post it in your journal (and use an lj-cut).
- It's not required, but if you want, you can create a Voicemail entry in your journal.

- Introduce yourself and your character at somarium_ooc (don't forget the tags!)
- Be sure to read about the Dreamberry and the Posting guide to familiarize yourself on how to post both journal and community entries.
