Ada stood there in front of Elliot's door for a good five minutes, debating on whether or not she should knock. He was acting more kindly towards her since she came here, so maybe he was really starting to think of her as a friend. And friends could ask friends favors, couldn't they? Taking a deep breath, she made up her mind and knocked twice on his door, her hand quickly dropping to her side. Okay. She could do this. It wasn't a big deal... she was just asking him to teach her to fight, nothing to get nervous about.
So why did she end up fidgeting before he answered the door anyway? What was the worst he could do? Say no and slam the door in her face? ...yeah. That was partially what she was afraid of.
