[In the days after his arrival, Zack had taken to exploring the city of Somni and the village of Espoir. He needed to have his bearings straight, and this was the quickest way to do it. That was why he was out an about in the Residential District today, simply making sure he knew his way around.

But then a familiar braid had Zack turning on his heel, eyes wide. He knew that woman. But there was no way. It couldn't be---]

Aerith?

[ She stilled when she heard the voice, the one she had heard time and time again, both in Somarium and back in the slums of Midgar. Just as fast as he had gone, he had returned and this time she didn't know what to say.

So she did what she normally did, she turned and smiled at him. ]

Back already? That was fast!

[She wasn't the only one who didn't know what to say. Zack had stepped forward to greet her with his normal cheer, but stopped when she turned around. Something seemed off, but he couldn't place it until she spoke.

Back. Right. He'd apparently been here before but if he had he couldn't remember it. And that more than kind of bugged him.]

Yeah, I...guess it was. Sorry about that.

[ Numerous times in fact, but she certainly wasn't counting.

She remained where she was, staring at him still with that smile on her face. But it hurt...oh, did it hurt, to see him again. ]

You don't remember, do you? [ no, he never does. ]

The best thing about being somewhere that was still new was that he had an actual chance to explore. Sure, pirates sailed the seas and visited islands but the Whitebeard Pirates had never stayed on land for too long; some locals didn't take kindly to pirates and while the Marines sailed as well, they had bases on the land and hanging around was just asking for trouble. And a part of him still thought that if he looked around enough, he might remember when he had been here last because that would probably mean the world to Luffy - and to him too - but no, nothing had suddenly popped into his head.

But anyway, it was nice to be here, to be out in the fresh air which was something that'd take him time to get used to and when he approached the girl with her wagon of flowers he grinned brightly and waved.

Pirates could be polite and charming, contrary to popular opinion.

The man waving at her was unfamiliar, but that didn't stop her from going over to him and greeting him properly. Since she had been in Somarium she had been a bit more open with people. Surely Zack would be proud of her for that, because she really felt she didn't have anything to fear with the random inhabitants of the city. Besides, most of them were just stuck here like she was.

She reached back as she approached him, pulling forth a single yellow flower and offering it when she was close enough, "Hi there. I don't think we've met."

An even broader grin spread across his face as he accepted the flower and he needed to get a new hat - even though the thought of that pained him - because he wasn't about to start wearing a shirt and he didn't really have anywhere to wear the flower apart from behind his ear. Which was cool but still, he wasn't used to wearing anything like that before.

"Nope, I don't think we have," he replied and dipped in a bow - remembering to hold his new flower in place so he wouldn't lose it right away - smiling as he did so. "Portgas D. Ace. You?"

She watched, raising a hand to her lips to stifle a small laugh. Well, wasn't he sweet?

"It's a pleasure to meet you Ace. I'm Aerith. You're not a new arrival, are you?" she really couldn't keep up sometimes. Far too busy taking care of the shop and such to really notice. She felt kind of bad about it sometimes though.

[Suu was simply enjoying the weather, wandering the streets of Somni in hopes of finding something new and exciting. It's so nice to be able to leave freely.

[When she saw a wagon filled with flowers though, she simply had to stop and take a look at it. She glances around - the owner must be here somewhere - and then begins looking through all the beautiful flowers admiringly.]

[ Aerith had been inside one of the shops for all of a minute, and was somewhat surprised to see the girl looking around at her flowers. She didn't really mind though. ]

Hello! Is there something you're interested in?

Ooooh~

[Curious little thing that he is, he approaches Aerith slowly, sniffing the air. The flowery scent was rather nice and he wouldn't mind bring a few flowers home for him and Edgeworth to enjoy. Once he was close enough, he gently tugs on Aerith's pant leg.]

Can Stitch get a flower too?

[ She honestly has to stare for a second when the adorable blue....thing comes over to get her attention. She's never seen anything like that before, and that's saying a lot considering what she had seen in her life thusfar. ]

Of course! [ she'll even get a pretty blue one for him. And she kneels down to hand it off. ] Here you go.

Thank you.

[He takes it from her, careful not to crush the flower in his paw. He sniffs it, that grin on his face widening. He tugs on Aerith's pant leg again.]

Can Stitch get one more? Wanna give flower to Edgeworth too~

[ She moves to stand, but stops again once the creature attempts to get her attention a second time. ]

Is he a friend of yours? [ in which case, she'll have to give him a special one, and once she finds what she's looking for she kneels down once more to give it to him as well. ] Careful now.

Tifa had been out and about, getting things done. There were a few errands for the house she had left to do - groceries, things for the house, things she needed... but it seemed like it was going to be a productive day. She had pushed the events from the previous week out of her mind. While everything she had done wasn't too bad, to have a second set of memories had thrown her off.

As she rounded the corner in Somni, something caught her eye. Something familiar. She didn't know that she- Well, it was obvious. If Zack and everyone else who had died was here, why couldn't...

"Aerith?"

When she heard her name, Aerith turned on her heel, smiling over at the familiar woman and waving. She had only spoken with Tifa a bit when she was in Somarium the first time, but she remembered at least!

"Tifa. How have you been?"

Tifa had yet to see Aerith in Somarium, so this was a surprise for her. The last she had seen Aerith... none of them would ever forget that day in the Forgotten City.

Happiness won over shock, and she smiled. "Good, actually. Aside from all of the craziness that happened last week. How are you?"

She laughed, "Oh, yes, that was a little crazy wasn't it? That's why I'm out here actually. Everyone seemed so upset by it that I was going to go and give them flowers." for free. How sweet of her.

and then she smiled, "I've been well, actually! It's good to hear things are going well on your end, too."
