Alice jumped slightly and looked up to gaze at Kain, her eyes widening. She had never met this man before and she had been caught. She curled up a bit in unconscious defensive behavior.
"I-I'm fine sir," she said softly. She didn't feel very fine but why trouble a stranger right?
"You're leaving?" she was a bit surprised and the question was out of her mouth before she could really stop it. She supposed it was her fault that he was leaving... but she didn't know whether or not to feel grateful he was being considerate, or sad that she had driven him away.
Alice was anything but afraid of dragons. She had housed a dragon for several weeks before he left too. But Toothless was one of the sweetest creatures she had ever met. But that was neither here nor there at the moment. She merely just sighed and looked him in the eye.
"You're leaving because I was rude aren't you? Shouldn't I apologize?

Alice watched Kain walk over to the bench and she studied him. She had never met this man but he was still kind to her.
