Well, Goodness, where did she come from? "Yes! A flower shop, specifically. I ran one when I was last here, but I'm not sure if Alphonse and Jigen are still around to take care of it."
Well, he only saw you the one time so Zack is just going to stare a little, wondering why you look familiar. Zack barely caught her message but he slipped his Dreamberry back into his pocket and approached the young woman. "Aerith, right?"
The name suddenly came back to him but she still was a little fuzzy in his mind. Still, he had a bright smile on his face. "I can show you where your shop is! I think someone else took care of it while you were gone. Who knew so many people liked flowers?"
There was no way she could forget him, seeing as he was the spitting image of the Zack she knew. Well, he was Zack, right? Sort of? Why was this so complicated? It didn't really matter though, she just ended up smiling right back at him and nodding, "Yup, that's me! And you're Zack, correct?" of course he was. "It's nice to meet you again."
Her smile widened, hands clasping together in front of her happily, "Really? Thank you! I'll have to thank whoever took care of it for me, too.-- Do you not like flowers...?"
"Oh, no, I didn't mean it like that!" Zack laughed sheepishly. "I just don't know a thing about takin' care of flowers. I think when the shop was empty, a lot of people were sad because you grew great flowers. But whoever else took care of it knew what they were doing too."
"I hope no one was too upset." That was the last thing she wanted, and the whole idea with the flowers was to make people happy. "Hm...I wonder if Jigen and Alphonse stuck around to take care of them." or maybe Frank did, though she wasn't entirely sure on that one.
all video up in here.... for now B)shootsatclownsMarch 15 2011, 23:40:03 UTC
No surprise that Dante was sitting on his ass in his office, alternating between dozing off and beating the ever loving crap out of his jukebox. From time to time he'd pick up his Dreamberry and mess around with it, not really caring about most of what was going on for other people. But Aerith's voice was one he hadn't really forgotten, and it was a pleasant surprise to see she was back. He switched to the video reply.
"Well well, welcome back babe," he gave his normal cocky grin as he said this, tilting his head to the side. "I can promise you, I didn't kick down the door of your shop. Not even once."

It may have taken her a minute or so to remember, but even if she didn't recognise his voice at first, Dante's face was pretty unforgettable. Must have had something to do with that cocky look -- or the silver hair. Either way, she just smiled right on back as she made her way down the street still.
"Oh, good! I would have been pretty sore if I came back and my shop was all busted up, you know! and thank you for the kind welcome. It's good to see you again."

"I don't know shit about flowers, so I didn't take care of 'em.... sorry." He shrugs, leaning back in his chair and observing the path she's taking over the phone. "But yeah, good to see you again too, Aerith. Nero and I missed ya. You were the only person we knew who could cook."
fuck. i lol'dfloriferousMarch 16 2011, 00:13:37 UTC
Aerith just laughed at that, and then even more so when she imagined Dante trying to take care of flowers. "That's upsetting. I hope you both have been eating while I was gone. I wouldn't want you to starve." though she had a feeling it was all pizza again, huh? Figures. "Once I'm settled back in I'm sure I can make something for you again."
Things had been rather uneventful for Nero, aside from the completely embarrassing party he had to attend. Now that was just torture, completely not worth the debt he had gotten himself out of with his service. Nothing a few drinks and some wallowing in self pity couldn't eventually fix. The voice over the Dreamberry was a welcomed surprise, though, and replaced thoughts of that disaster with something more important.
"Welcome back, Aerith," he responded with a lazy wave of that fancy glow stick hand. "I kept Dante away from the shop, couldn't do much else though."
As much as he wanted to help the woman out, Nero just wasn't destined for that line of work.
"Hello again, Nero." She said with that usual smile of hers, glad to see some familiar and friendly faces greeting her on the Dreamberry. Even if she would have liked to hear that the people she met here finally made their way home, she wasn't going to say it was bad seeing them again. "You two didn't cause too much trouble elsewhere, did you?" No more breaking down doors and shooting each other in the head, right?
"Eh, there was a bit of stabbing," nothing too serious. Honesty is the best policy, right?
He smirked back, allowing a pause for eyes to scan the screen in hopes of pinpointing where, exactly, she might be. He was pretty happy that she left when she did though, the giant yeti creature and the awkward Valentine's mess were things that no one in their right mind would want to experience. But despite that, he just couldn't deny that he was also happy to see her again.
Coming up with no location, he shrugged lightly. "You been here long? Think you can make it back to the shop okay?"
And now she's frowning, "Nero," she's going to scold you like she's your mother because stabbing is bad even if you can heal faster than humans. That look doesn't linger for too long though.
She's in the same district as her shop, in fact she's coming pretty close to it now unless she somehow takes a wrong turn somewhere. This place is big! And even back home she's not use to navigating a huge city,
"I just woke up a little while ago, actually. And if I remember right I should be somewhere close to it...unless I'm wrong. Hm. I think I'll manage." she smiled again, "Are you at Devil May Cry?"

[Well, he sure sounds... Enthusiastic about her return. Maybe a little bit too much.]
I didn't expect you to come back!
