No surprise that Dante was sitting on his ass in his office, alternating between dozing off and beating the ever loving crap out of his jukebox. From time to time he'd pick up his Dreamberry and mess around with it, not really caring about most of what was going on for other people. But Aerith's voice was one he hadn't really forgotten, and it was a pleasant surprise to see she was back. He switched to the video reply.

"Well well, welcome back babe," he gave his normal cocky grin as he said this, tilting his head to the side. "I can promise you, I didn't kick down the door of your shop. Not even once."

See? He'd been a good boy.

It may have taken her a minute or so to remember, but even if she didn't recognise his voice at first, Dante's face was pretty unforgettable. Must have had something to do with that cocky look -- or the silver hair. Either way, she just smiled right on back as she made her way down the street still.

"Oh, good! I would have been pretty sore if I came back and my shop was all busted up, you know! and thank you for the kind welcome. It's good to see you again."

"I don't know shit about flowers, so I didn't take care of 'em.... sorry." He shrugs, leaning back in his chair and observing the path she's taking over the phone. "But yeah, good to see you again too, Aerith. Nero and I missed ya. You were the only person we knew who could cook."

Aerith just laughed at that, and then even more so when she imagined Dante trying to take care of flowers. "That's upsetting. I hope you both have been eating while I was gone. I wouldn't want you to starve." though she had a feeling it was all pizza again, huh? Figures. "Once I'm settled back in I'm sure I can make something for you again."

Then my job here is done

"I'll never starve as long as this place still has pizza joints that deliver. But hey, a home cooked meal is still pretty damn nice." You figured right Aerith. This guy has marinara sauce running through his veins, I swear. "Take your time, I wouldn't want to rush you."

"and what if it goes out of business?" gasp. You need to eat right, "Well I'll get right on that once I get settled again. Anything in particular you want, Dante?"

"I'd probably die, Aerith. It'd be terrible. The world would totally be losing out." He grins, sweeping his hands out in a shrug before he continues. "Nah, I'm not a picky guy. Make whatever's easy for you. I'll eat whatever you put in front of me."
