Raven had gotten the notices that people were going to be heading to his place, and had cleaned up and stored everything so that if another quake ran through it wouldn't be so dangerous.
The power had been flickering every now and then, and he had pulled out some spare generators and heaters in case it did go out. Luckily it wasn't so cold out. He had stepped outside to take a look at the rain and...well it was weird feeling warm rain, and black, too.
And so he waited, sitting on the couch. A pile of blankets, sheets, and towels at the ready for those would be coming in sopping wet.
