Lloyd was once again searching for signs of the Otherworldly Gate. Espoir still felt like the most likely place it would be, since that was where he had shown up, so here he was, bundled up warmly, though still equipped with his swords. Couldn't be too careful, after all, especially after hearing that monsters might have gotten through that strange crack in the desert.

As he headed through the trees, though, something pulled his attention away from his search. Was that... music? Curious, he changed directions, his boots crunching through the crust of the old snow on the ground. Was that someone up ahead?

Link continued to explore around Espoir, not even sure of where exactly he was going. He heard footsteps coming up from behind him and walked towards it. Finally! Someone who he can ask!

There was someone there - a man dressed in green with really pointy ears. Lloyd's eyes widened slightly. An elf? Here?

"Hi!" ...what? How else was he supposed to greet someone?

Link laughs nervously. This must be pretty awkward, but he can't help it. "Um, what is this place?"

Surprisingly, the question actually helps with whatever awkwardness Lloyd might have been feeling. He could answer that question, easy! "This is Somarium," he said. "I take it you're new?"

Wait..what? "Somarium? What?" Confusion is go~

Lloyd scratched the back of his neck. "I'm not really sure how to explain it. But you just got here, right?"

[kokirihero]

He nods. "Yeah. I'm..not sure how though."

"I got here through the Otherwordly Gate, but some people said they got here when they fell asleep." Which still didn't make a whole lot of sense to him, but he wasn't going to worry about it right now. "What's the last thing you remember?"

He gives him a curious look. "What's an Otherworldly Gate?"

"The last thing I remember was...Zelda sending me home."

"It's a Gate between two worlds," Lloyd explains, not surprised that this guy doesn't know. Hey, he didn't know what one was, either, until pretty recently. "A place where they're connected. I went through, but I guess I ended up going to the wrong world, because I ended up here."

Tilting his head, it's his turn to give Link his own curious look. "Who's Zelda?"

"Really? Well, I guess I can kind of relate then." To a certain extent.

"She's the princess of Hyrule."

[redcladidealist]

"Really? You know a princess?" Lloyd has only met one princess before - Princess Hilda.

Hmm... Hilda. Zelda. I wonder if they're... Wait. "You're not from Tethe'alla, are you?"

He nods. "Yes, she's a really good friend of mine."

"No, I'm from Hyrule. Where's Tethe'alla?"

"It's the name of another world connected to the one I'm from. I'm from Sylvarant. But your princess's name sounded kind of like Tethe'alla's princess's name, and you're an elf, so I thought maybe you were Tethe'allan, too." Hey, it made sense to him!

You're really confusing him, Lloyd. Too much outside information that he's never heard of before. D: "I'm not sure I follow. What's an elf?"
