Ritsuka was holding his camera, trying to get a bird that was perched on a branch before it flew off. His tail swished in victory as the bird looked right at him and he snapped the photo. He smiled at the bird and it flew off. With several of the trees still dead or destroyed from the attack it was a surprise that he had even found a bird at all. His ears perked however when he heard something behind him.
Ritsuka turned his head and looked at the older boy a few yards away.
He was watching the younger male's tail swish when it had, having caught his eye surprisingly quick. (And, really, he's not all that surprised. If Lelouch is alive, then cat boys couldn't be impossible.) Still, he couldn't help but stare blankly for a moment. Did that boy have ears and a tail -- no, he couldn't let himself be surprised. Wouldn't be surprised.
Even so. There was something going on in the back of his head that just refused to digest what was in front of him.
And so when there were eyes on him, Suzaku's mouth opened and a small, "ah," came out, before he decided that talking would not at all be possible at the moment. (A cat plus a boy equals ... error. Not computing. At all.)
When the other boy made no motion Ritsuka merely shrugged and went about the task of going through his memory card. His tail swished in content as he saw some of the photos and his ears perked in content. He looked around for a bench and sat down. He gave a small shiver as a blast of wind went through his jacket.
Slowly, when everything started to clear in his mind and he came to terms with the reality of a boy plus a cat, he reached a hand up to rub at the corner of his eye. Really- this place was starting to screw with his head.
And then the shiver caught his attention and he blinked, only to ask, "Cold?" And shift to see if it was true.
"Yes," he responded simply as he continued to look through his memory chip on his camera. He didn't give much more of a response since the other boy clearly didn't seem to want to have a conversation.
He blinks again and gives the barest of smiles, "I see. Did you get any good shots?" Because even he can understand the use of a camera. Anya seemed to have one on her all of the time; well, no, not 'seemed' -- she did have one on her constantly. An amnesiac girl could only go so far with the things that she did remember and the things she didn't.
(Somehow, this boy reminds him just a little bit of her and how she used to be.)
"If that would be alright with you," he says as he tilts his head, and waits to be given an 'okay' so he could move forward and take a seat next to the other.
Ritsuka turned his head and looked at the older boy a few yards away.
