Before Raven could even get that precious drink, the door to the tavern swung open, and from his vantage point, he could see just a small tuft of red hair over the tables in the way.

"Excuse me?" came a familiar voice. "Is there anyone here?"

A kid?

Raven leaned forward so he could see around and stared when he saw the little Luke.

No...that's...

"...Asch?" Raven said as he slowly stood up and walked over to the kid. His memories of when he had been turned into a kid were still kind of hazy but now that he was thinking, this one had to be Asch. The first one he had met was Luke.

Luke stared back at him like he grew another head. "Hunh?" he asked, blinking up at him. "Um... I'm Luke, sir. I was wondering if you saw a boy that looked like me?"

He frowned slightly to himself. The old man kind of looked familiar...

Oh yeah, right, the kid doesn't know about this whole business.

"Heh, my mistake," Raven said with a small grin. "And...I'm afraid I haven't seen him."

[wandering in] ...you're back.

It gives the phrase "relive your childhood" a new meaning.

And if Raven took a look around the tavern, he might have noticed an odd newcomer who made himself right at home in his own isolated corner. He was humming a cheerful little tune to himself, perusing what appeared to be Altosk Tavern's meager menu. As Raven came to with the telltale sounds of movement, his humming died down and he quietly shifted his gaze (? his eyes were closed, could he even see at all?) to the disheveled man on the couch, a friendly, tranquil smile on his face.

"Oh? So he's finally awoken! For a moment I thought I would have to take a drink all on my own," the stranger sighed. "Welcome back to the waking world, Mister - pardon me - sleeping world."

"Yeah, wish I hadn't--"

Raven eyes shot open when his brain finally registered that someone else had come in while he had been a sleep and literally jumped a bit, almost sliding off the couch.

"W-Wha--!!"

The stranger paid Raven's distress no mind. He pointed to an item on the menu, prepared to ask an innocent question.

"Ah, Mister, do tell me, is the water bottled or on tap?"

Raven just stared at him for a moment before shaking his head, clearing his mind before standing up and walking over.

"Bottled is better. Want some?"

Cornelia walked into the tavern, head held high and boots loudly clicking on the floor as she made her way up to the bar. It really wasn't her habit to drink, but since her arrival yesterday, she found herself unable to fill her time. She was so used to strategical battles and running an empire that the idle hours were beginning to drive her crazy.

There was a firm expression on her face, resembling a scowl and she seemed to be lost in thought as she put her hand on top of the bar and uttered, "Scotch on the rocks. Single malt."

Raven just stared as he watched her come in.

DAMN. He hadn't seen a woman like her in a while, especially since being here.

As he stood up, he said, "Must have had a rough time." Raven came around the bar and started to prepare her drink. "Just arrived, right?"

She eyed him coolly, her eyes narrowing as they scaled the man's attire and careless attitude. "Yes... just yesterday. And you?"

She pulled the long, silk gloves from her fingers and folded them prissily before hiding them somewhere in her cloak.

Raven watched her movements from the corner of his eye...and once again. Damn.

He set the drink in front of her before leaning against the counter. "I've been here a few months. Name's Raven," he grinned.

*poking his head into the tavern and looking around, possibly as though he's... looking for someone*

*blinks and looks up from where he's sitting and gives the boy a wave*

Ah, yes, I was just looking for someone. I was wondering if you could help.

Lookin' for someone, huh? What's their name and what do they look like?
