It's only natural not to expect to awaken in a different location from from where you fell asleep. It's even more unexpected to wake up to a face full of leaves, and the feeling of the branch supporting your weight finally giving way beneath you.
Then again, it is probably even worse to be out on a peaceful stroll through the village, only to suddenly have a man fall out of a tree right in front of you (or on top of you)!
