Who: Angela and you~!
Where: Somewhere on the outskirts of Espoir, at night.
Style: I'm willing to match whatever is comfortable.
Status: Open!

Waking up in a place she'd never seen before wasn't exactly a new experience. Since leaving Altena and traveling the world, Angela was getting used to seeing new places and meeting new people. It was an exciting thing for a girl who spent her childhood cooped up in the walls of a castle surrounded by snow. All of it was new to her-- forests, plains, deserts, sea shores. She and her companions were headed for the Holy Land now and she could only imagine what that would look like.

This. This was not what she was expecting.

She'd expected divinity! Awe-inspiring scenery! Trees so big you couldn't see their boughs through the clouds, ground so holy it made cynics into believers on contact, water so pure that if she threw Hawk in, he'd come out a virgin. Instead she found herself in podunk-ville. Angela could understand the need for humility, but come on. It's the Mana Goddess! A little pomp never hurt royalty, let alone the creator of everything and anything ever!

"So much for the Holy Land," she said. "It looks like every other town we've been to. Riesz, where's the--"

Wait. No Riesz. Come to think of it, no Hawk, no Duran, no Carlie, and no Kevin. Huh. They must have gone on without her. It was probably Carlie's idea. That kid was more trouble than she was worth sometimes.

"Guys? Guys, where are you? You could've just woke me! Geez..."

For now she tried to get a scope on her surroundings. There was this odd... thing she found next to her when she awoke and she turned it back and forth, marveling at its smooth surface but unsure what its purpose was. So enthralled was she with her new little toy and the place she'd popped up in that she didn't notice the scarecrow lurking behind her.

"Hey, guys, I found something. Wonder what the hell it is..."

Angela continued to puzzle over the object and pout over her abandonment that she failed to see that the scarecrow had a sickle, and was coming closer. She could probably use some one coming along before she loses her pretty little head.
