Who: Takuma Ichijou and someone to save him. D:
Where: A room in the Castle
Style: You pick
Status: Open
Takuma wandered the halls of Noctaerium castle looking for someone, anyone that he recognized. He knew D and Cooro were there. He could smell them, their scents were faint. Thankfully, the other people he cared about weren't there, or else he hoped. He sniffed out for their scent, but couldn't pick up anything. He hoped that it was because the really weren't there.
His cherub face looked a bit worn. He had gotten the minimal amount of sleep for him to be able to function properly because of all the twists, turns, and monsters this place had to offer. His wings looked disheveled and there was small traces of blood and tears where a noctaere monster managed to hurt him or if the kill was a bit messy.
But onward the vampire trudged, his katana out of its sheath and ready for action in case something decided to pop out at him like it had been doing for the duration of his stay.
The vampire was passing an open door when a woman's voice called out to him as soft as a rose petal.
"Takuma..."
He stopped. The voice sounded distantly familiar. He looked into the open room and saw nothing but a Japanese style table that had a vase on it with a mixture flowers, stems, and sticks next to it and some already inside. A light shone down on it, making only the table visible to him while everything else was enshrouded in shadow.
A delicate, pale hand with a kimono draping off of its wrist came out from behind the shadow and picked up a light blue flower, placing it artistically amongst the other flowers and leaves.
"Takuma...come here"
It....couldn't be, could it? Of all places, why was she here? Here in this place? The woman he hadn't seen in countless years.
"...O-Okaa-sama....?", he breathed out in a barely there whisper.
"Yes, Takuma...come here...Let me see my boy..." The voice was haunting and soft. The hands kept working, placing the flowers into the vase so that it became full and beautiful. Before he knew it, his feet were already moving towards the room.
She continued to call his name, soothing and welcoming just as a mother's call should be. Each time she called his name, he replied back with a quiet 'okaa-sama' as if she would go away if he stopped.
He walked towards the table, the room had an overwhelming scent of flowers so that he could smell nothing else. The slender hand picked up a blue flower, holding it up to him. It was a flax flower, just like his name. He reached out to take it and as soon as it was transferred to him, the door slammed shut and everything was covered in darkness.
The noble clutched onto the flower and groped out into the darkness for something anything to be there. It was as if he was awakened from some sort of trance because there was no more scent of flowers, there was no more voice, and the only thing that remained was what was in his hand which wasn't even a flax flower anymore. It was a barbed stem that pricked his hands as he clutched it.
He dropped the stem and tried to find the door, but not even his eyes could see in this darkness. It was like he was blind.
He ran around, not knowing where to go, things grabbed at his clothing, at his wings, at his arms and legs. Things he could not see! They felt like hands or tentacles or vines, anything that could latch onto him. His heart started racing as he blindly groped around for any sort of door that would lead him out of this room.
Suddenly, Takuma stopped dead in his tracks. There was a powerful scent of blood that his his nose full force. He reached up and felt underneath his nose and it was damp. There was also a feeling of something like tears, but it was too thick to be water.
"Ah...!", he cried as a sharp pain hit his chest. His scar on his heart seemed to reopen and blood was bubbling up from the wound and started seeping through his clothing.
He let out a cough and blood spilled from his lips and if he took a deep breath, it filled his lungs. What was happening to him?
"S-someone....", he called out quietly as he staggered forward in excruciating pain.
"Anyone! Please get me out of here!", he shouted. He didn't realize he was almost to the door when he dropped to his knees and fell forward onto his stomach. "Please...someone...save me...D..."
Blood seeped through the crack of the door and out into the hallway as he laid there, trying to keep conscious.
