[Zoro slept like a baby through the whole bellowing statue business, so he's got no idea why anyone would be jumpy right now.

The green-haired swordsman may startle Celty by banging carelessly out of the grocery store just as she's about to come inside, though, swigging some cheap beer as he goes. :|b]

Ugh-the fuck-!

[Luckily, Zoro has reflexes like whoa, so he's jerking back and throwing up a hand as well as scrunching his eyes shut even she sprays. Only a few droplets get in. ...Those few droplets, however, are quite enough to have him scrubbing at his reddened, watering eyes and hissing in pain. :|a

He's also dropped his bottle of booze to shatter on the ground, which he won't be happy about, later-not that he's exactly pleased at the moment. As evidenced by him whipping out a katana and swinging blindly, swearing like a sailor at the random attack. Or like a pirate, I mean. :|a]

[she got him-?! well the way he's reacting, she's convinced she did. the sudden collision alarmed her so much she just reacted with the pepper spray, it was a sudden attack that she didn't know what else to do. what she doesn't expect is for a katana to sudden be swung around! an alien using a weapon!?

she takes a sudden step back, however the katana does slash at her arm to which smoke is quick to emit from him with a flash of blood but she's not worrying too much about the pain. all she needs to focus on is getting back to her motorcycle and getting out of here!!]

[He still can't see much through his watery squint but blobs, so he doesn't notice the smoke, but he doesn't notice that the feel of the sword's impact was slightly...off. He can't really define it.

He can see the black blob that is clearly the shape of Someone, probably the Someone who attacked him out of the blue, retreating.]

Oi, where the fuck do you think you're going, asshole?!

[In angry, stinging-eyed pursuit, sword still drawn. 8|b]

[uh-oh not as planned!

at the moment it's a cursing alien intend on striking back after her sudden defense, shadows emit from her own formed on the ground to move and grasp at his legs (of course if he had been able to see then it would've distracted him) but she hadn't though that far as she manages to finally get to her motorcycle that made no sound of an engine starting or any.]

[Zoro stumbles when the shadows wind around his legs-he finally manages to blink some clarity into his vision and-]

The hell?

[-immediately slashes at said shadowy constrictions. Don't think he missed Celty getting on her bike, though, he's noted what she looks like, now, and is still intent on getting to her once he deals with this...ability of hers. B|]

[Once she's on her motorcycle, she casts her attention to him and sees that he's busy with the shadows which begin to return to her just as she makes a sharp turn and begins to zoom off! At the moment she's thinking she's safe for now, not having a single clue that Zoro now knows how she looks like. All she cares is she's getting away from the sudden alien ambush!]

[Zoro curses and bolts after her as soon as the shadows let go, buuut fast as he is he's not as fast as a motorcycle. >:|a]

[Instead he'll scramble up onto the roof of the grocery store to try and see where she's headed...not that it'll help him much, seeing as how he has less than no sense of direction, but he'll definitely remember her. And warn the rest of his crew about the acid-spraying witch in the helmet. B|]
