[Flonne is still roaming around with an idiotic smile that's so cute that you can't deny. She accidentally bumped into the boy, nearly falling back.]

Ah- Sorry~

[Niall had been watching the young girl as subtly as possible, remaining still even as he could see an oncoming collision. He could have moved yes, but that wouldn't have been interesting, would it?]

No need to apologize. [a brief smile] You should be careful.

[She nodded, returning to her smile.]

Yes, I'm sorry! Everything here is just so amazing!

[Amazing wasn't the word he was thinking, but she was so terribly, alarmingly young. Such a fragile state, the world so old to her likely, so full of mystery. His answer was quite typical of faery, vague and unhelpful:]

Is it?

How convenient that the Medicine Seller just so happened to be passing by that particular wall! Yes, quite convenient indeed. And while he barely glanced at the other, in that momentary flash in his general direction the Medicine Seller did not see the quite-human looking man sitting upon the wall. No, he saw the underlying form that revealed many interesting aspects. When he looked again he did indeed look like a normal young man. A small twitch of amusement caused his lips to curve upward ever the slightest bit, eyes narrowing in contemplation.

He looked about as lost as the Medicine Seller felt. He didn't make the first move to engage in conversation though, and simply moved to settle along the wall himself, dropping the large wooden box down with a thud. He needed to rest after all.

Niall watched the strange man, noting the tattoos and pointed ears, as well as the uncommon dress and that mysterious box. When the other settled near him he could only become curious, though his expression was as unaffected as the Medicine Seller's.

A simple, "How d'ya do?" was his greeting for now, his curiosity rightly peaked.

The Medicine Seller didn't respond for a good couple minutes, instead he was fiddling with a few things: checking and rechecking to make sure everything was intact. Inside his medicine box he found the dreamberry, and decided to play with that for a while too. In fact he was just generally ignoring the greeting if only because he felt like he didn't have to return it. Not yet anyway, not until he was sure of what he saw and what he was feeling. How interesting.

"Well," he offered pausing yet again, the click of the buttons being pushed on his phone being the only noise coming from his general direction, "Though I seem to be lost," now he looked up, but not at Niall. "You don't look like you know much of this Somarium."

The long stretch of silence was unique, but hardly bothered the faery. He could sit quite still for hours and be content. Quite honestly it was refreshing, almost like being around another fey. Niall couldn't quite grasp what this man was, but he was obviously not fully human. As he inhaled silently, no strong emotions were even evident. Quite curious.

And so they both lingered there affectively ignoring each other, both playing with their Dreamberries. What an odd couple.

When the Medicine Seller did speak up, Niall was ready to give his attention again. "No, I don't, I've only just found myself here," he answered honestly; not that he could answer any other way even if he wanted to.

"Name's Niall. What are you called?"

It was in a rather irritated mood that Maia wandered through Espoir, scrolling through the contacts on her Dreamberry. As she walked that she picked up a scent-- a very non-human, very Downworlder scent-- that caused her to stop walking in surprise, lowering her Dreamberry to pinpoint the source. It was not difficult: the young man sat on a wall not far from her, and she could detect signs of a glamour.

"...Faery," Maia said without thinking. As much as she didn't much like the Seelie, she'd always been a little fascinated. Unaware she was staring, Maia tilted her head, trying to see past the glamour he wore.

Niall smiled slightly, not looking up from his Dreamberry, not yet. The two could sense each other, savoring that initial contact and sense of curiosity, unease, uncertainty. He didn't know what she was, but she could obviously see through the facade, at least somewhat. Niall wasn't going to drop the glamor, not in the middle of the street like this. He would let her try and get deeper through it. If she wanted to.

Finally he glanced up at her. "Hello." Whatever she was, she was rather lovely.

[ooc: oh god my grammar is awful at late hours. :| apologies.]Maia started. She must have been more obvious than she thought, she realised, for she hadn't expected him to notice her. She turned a slight red at being caught staring and drew closer ( ... )

"It's warm," he commented, not really answering. Niall slipped the phone into his pocket and rested both hands on the low wall on either side of him, watching her curiously. The sun never bothered him much, not after hundreds of years being around the Summer King, with all his volatile, radiant mood swings. He supposed those days were over, one way or the other.

"And you?"

Is that what happened? [He'd be more likely to believe Irial somehow orchestrated this]

A.B.A had run out of decent scraps that she could try and set out for the small mouse under her stove. Before the rodent could find somewhere else to eat she decided it best to go out and get more food, and maybe even a cage finally.

Imagine her surprise when she walked past the wall and looked up to see the unfamiliar young man sitting there. Something about him seemed very off to A.B.A, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. He looked just like all of the other humans she had come into contact with, though.

The girl's short attention span gave up on trying to figure it out, but she didn't continue moving. Instead, A.B.A reached out and poked a finger at the man's foot in order to gain his attention.

"Hello."

Niall watched the odd girl with the key in her head, waiting to see if she responded to him or not after all that staring, his own staring down much more subtly through peripheral vision. When she finally moved over, he made sure to look studiously at his Dreamberry and allow her to make contact.

He smiled for just a second at the way she chose to make that contact, and he looked up at her with some amusement.

"Hello," he answered simply.

A.B.A notices the way the man toys around with the phone. He doesn't seem all that confused like that Terra person she had met a few days prior, so it doesn't strike her that he could be new. He actually looks very comfortable sitting on the wall like that and she attempts a small smile back.

"Are you from the districts?" A.B.A knows there were quite a few people from there. Perhaps he just wanted to get away from the crime she had heard about lately.

"I've only just arrived. Maybe you could tell me about the districts?" he offers, not bothering to hide his look at the key through her head. He doesn't seem alarmed and doesn't mention it though, merely curious in a passing fashion. Compared to some of the fey, especially those in the Dark Court, that was nothing too strange looking.
