The bar was fairly quiet this evening. Not that Tifa was surprised, the week had been so confusing and weird that she doubted many had time to stop by for food or a drink.

But as she bumped the door to the kitchen open with her hip and stepped out behind the counter, she saw a man sitting at the bar. He was saying something, but she missed it, as she had just stepped in at the end of his sentence. It didn't matter though really, it looked like a customer, and it was her job to serve after all.

Walking over and pushing her dark hair back behind her ears, Tifa stood in front of him. "Hi there, can I get you something?"

Oh, hello. Ezio looked up as the woman approached, his lips instinctively curving up in a small smile. No matter how out of it he was, or what had happened, the smiling face of a beautiful woman always seemed to cheer him up. If only a little. And she was indeed beautiful--and very well endowed he noticed. He was talented enough to keep his sights upward though.

"Buon giorno, bella." he nodded, flicking a hand nonchalantly at the question, that smirk widening a bit,

"Surprise me."

"You got it," she answered, reaching down to grab a glass. Whenever a customer said to surprise them, she took a quick second to study them, and guess what sort of person they were. What did their clothes say, what did their facial expression say?

This one was difficult to read, but she'd just do her best, wouldn't she? Or she could totally mess with him. He seemed like a guy who could take it. Grabbing the right ingredients, she mixed up a good old Cosmopolitan.

Yeah, it was a girl's drink. But it'd still be the best damn Cosmo he'd ever have. It would even have a little umbrella in it for good measure. She grinned as she slid it across the counter to him. "Here you go.

At this point you could probably give Ezio the fruitiest, most fabulously girly drink in the universe and he wouldn't care. He just wanted to sit here and think, and now stare at the good looking woman serving him at the bar. To hell if anyone saw or cared what he was drinking, he had enough testosterone to more than make up for it.

He nodded his thanks when the drink came sliding his way, giving it a once over, and despite not knowing what it was, he couldn't help but feel like he shouldn't be drinking something that looked so fabulous. No point in insulting the woman, and when he did take a sip it was actually really really good.

"Grazie,--" there was a pause. please insert name here.

Ezio swirled the contents of his glass around, watching it as he allowed his thoughts to drift off to nowhere in particular. The castle crashing, the strange statue, the images of Dastan in prison. And all the things it reminded him of. It seemed that no matter where he went, or what he did, tragedy always followed.

No point in lingering on that for long. He glanced over when he spotted the man, who was honestly hard to miss no matter where he went, and just nodded in his direction before sipping his drink again.

[The next patron seats himself conveniently next to Ezio, and orders a drink with a soft voice and softer instructions.

He takes a sip, and there is a silence.

After a while, the cryptic young man glances over at the other patron next to him with inscrutable eyes. With nary a bit of recognition within his eyes, he merely smiles into his drink, and lifts a hand to signal at the waiter.]

His drink. [A smile as he gestures politely to his side.] On me, please.

[ Ezio didn't bother to acknowledge the man that had sat beside him, instead losing himself in his thoughts once more. For a long while he was silent, only speaking when he wished to order, and nothing else.

Up until he heard the man speak, casting his gaze over to his side with a mildly confused expression. ]

There's no need for that, signore. [ He furrowed his brow lightly. He didn't even know who this guy was.]

[A smile, and he nods at the bartender, who shuffles off.]

No need, maybe. But it looks like you wouldn't mind it.

It hasn't been a fun week.

[ Touche, random strange man buying him drinks. ]

You would be right, signore. I wouldn't mind.

No. I can't say that it has, but at least we're all still alive. [ Wince. mostly. ]

Judith stepped down the final stair into the bar on the first floor of the Tavern with a small sigh. She look somewhat tired and completely annoyed, an obvious pout formed amongst her soft, pink lips. She had fallen asleep once again, and despite he fact that she was getting used to the random downtime, she was still upset. She had to go down during some of the most interesting stuff to happen to Somarium, and that just didn't sit well with her.

She stood still with her arms crossed limply across her thin waist, violet eyes analyzing her surroundings. The bar was surprisingly empty, though that was understandable due to all the commotion lately. A trip to the Tavern probably wasn't the first thing on the minds of the citizens here. Hell, she didn't know what was, seeing as her little nap left her completely uninformed on new and possible developments ( ... )

Ezio just stayed where he was, debating on whether he wanted to drink, or just bash his head into the counter a few times. Maybe if he tried hard enough he could send himself back home via shock. Doubtful, but still, it was tempting. He'd mess up his pretty face if he did that--Oh. Well, well what have we here.

He looked up as the slight creak of wood sounded in the nearly empty bar, making way for the woman that Ezio recalled meeting the first time he was here. Judith. Yes, he remembered Judith. She had been rather oblivious to his flirtings his seemed, or she was playing hard to get. but she was pretty, and honestly, wasn't really bad company herself.

When she came toward him, he couldn't help but offer a small smile of his own. Again, a lovely lady could never ruin his day. Even if he was tired and annoyed by everything that was happening around here. He leaned forward a bit, folding both arms on the counter.

"Ciao, bella. I haven't seen you for a while. How are you fairing?"

"Hello Ezio," she replied, leaning forward a little on her end just as he had. She was surprisingly preceptive, and despite his smile she could tell that he was both tired and somewhat annoyed with Somarium's current turn of events. "I'm fairing just as well as you are."

She allowed herself a moment of quiet staring, her soft smile shifting into that of a small smirk before she abruptly turned on her heels and straightened her posture. She sauntered over to the glasses, a hand moving to her hip as she eyed them critically. She craned her neck to address him over her shoulder:

"Can I get you anything?"

"Ah, that won't do at all, Judith." he teased lightly. He didn't want anyone to be feeling as he had right then. Especially not someone like her. It was hard to say she was a little off considering he only met her once.

He watched her as she waltzed over to the glasses, debating again on what he might want. He just went for the usual, because really, he could never get sick of something that often reminded him of him,

"Wine. Red, if you'd please, signora"

Things had been both quiet and hectic lately, so it was a bit of a relief to finally return to something of a routine.

Seeing the hooded figure walk in, Raven could already tell the guy would be interesting to say the least. Piqued his interest at any rate.

It looked like he had already been served, but never hurt to hold a little conversation. If anything he could serve him yet another drink. So while cleaning an empty glass, he leaned against the counter toward the stranger.

"Rough week, huh?"

Ezio looked up when the man spoke, shaking his head slowly. Yeah, that was putting it lightly. The sad part was this was all maybe slightly less hectic than what he had to accomplish back home. Maybe. Killing templars wasn't as ridiculous as crashing castles, rolling blackouts and mysteriously forming statues in the middle of the desert.

"To put it lightly." he offered, a small chuckle leaving his lips. "I suppose it's the same for everyone here."

"I've seen my fair share of 'strange events', but I gotta admit, this one's topped 'em all so far," Raven chuckled. "You younguns are gonna have yer hands full if this keeps up."

He didn't have to be an expert to tell that no matter what this guy had gone through before, it was nothing compared to what happened within the past week. But that was probably true for everyone here.

"But you've come to the right place to unwind," he added. "Ain't no place better than ol' Raven's tavern. So if there's anythin' I can do for ya, just say the word."

Dare he ask what other strange events occurred here? not right now, but he very well may consider it in the future.

"Raven?" He clicked his tongue, gonna go out on a limb here and say, "And would you be Raven?"
