[ Cakes and tea and everything with frills and lace. ]

[Alice smiled as she entered the party area in one of her nicer dresses.]

[ A familiar face, one that Merry has been looking forward to meet. After all, even her brother had nothing bad to say about Alice and the girl had been looking after Cain even before Merry had arrived.

And so clearly, forgetting her manners, she briskly walks towards the other girl, managing a curtsy. ]

Miss Alice! I'm so glad to have finally met you.

Lady Merryweather!

[Alice offered a curtsy in greeting before smiling brightly to the blond and grabbing her hands. She knew which tea sets weren't her's but it was nice to see them used.]

It looks lovely!

I've tried my best! I'm glad you think so.

[ She tugs the girl's hands, giggling. ] Come, let's have some tea. It's a tea party after all.

I'm wonderfully fond of tea! And if I actually get a drop of tea all the better! But you're nothing like the Mad Hatter or March Hare so I shan't worry!

Mad Hatter? March Hare?

[ Could be that this is one of those things Cain had told her about Alice but then . . . she is named Alice Liddell and there's only one Alice Liddell that she knows. ]

Oh yes! He was here in Somarium actually! As was the White Queen. But only Cheshire Puss is here with me.

Do you mean they're real?

[madcuriosity]

Of course they're real. I've spoken to them numerous times.

[treasureddoll]

You have?

[ A thoughtful pause. ] What are they like then?

[madcuriosity]

It depends on the day really. The Mad Hatter is certainly as mad when I first met him. But he can be quiet... sweet. And Cheshire is always a sweet but riddle-speaking puss. And the White Queen was a lovely house guest!

Ah! I would have liked to meet them too! Are they still here?

[madcuriosity]

Ah well... Cheshire is yes. He comes when Alice calls, as he said.

When you call, you mean?

Yes when I call. But that's because a Cheshire cannot stay away from his Alice for too terribly long.
