[After tiring of feeling like he's at a loose end and after his dream about being on the Moby Dick with all the people he's loved during his life, Ace has finally made good on his plans and is busy building a raft, making sure the planks are as tight together as they can be.
With him is a picnic basket of food - raft building is hungry work and this is Ace after, with an infamous D. appetite.
However, narcolepsy strikes as he's in the midst of lashing two planks together and he falls forward, heavily and rather alarmingly, to the partially constructed vessel.]
