Who: Zero and Harley Where: A park somewhere in Somni When: Backdated to the night of Rise's sleepover party Style: Looks like prose. Status: Probably closed? IDK.
Zero was out patrolling like he did every night. It was easier to calm the hunger if he did something--anything--in order to ignore it for just one more night, and with the influx of wild horses that soon began to overrun the area, the Hunter had his distraction.
He cared about animals, though most ran away from him on sight, sensing the predator inside. He didn't blame the creatures, he knew what he was, and sadly enough, he agreed with their quick assessment of him as they ran away anytime he drew near. And yet, there had been on horse back in his own world that hadn't followed its innate instincts, hadn't run away like the others. This was why he had a soft spot for the creatures running around the Somarium now.
He was patrolling the park now, ever watchful for running hooves or any other indication of the wild horses, when sharp eyes caught sight of a white horse fast asleep in the bushes. He stopped walking then, and slowly approached the wild animal.
He thought he'd be well hidden. Apparently, he was wrong.
Some little part of his mind must have registered Zero's presence, because he shifted, adjusting himself to curl up a little tighter, before his quiet, sleep-patterned breathing returned.
Zero walked slowly toward the sleeping animal, enhanced hearing picking up the light snoring.
"... ?"
It was... snoring? It sounded like it. Strange.
He approached with caution, not wanting to startle the animal, until he was a good few feet away from it. It if suddenly got up, Zero had enough speed to get out of the way, and strength to stop it, though it would be easier if the animal had a bit.
The Hunter watched the sleeping horse for a long moment, before finally making his presence known in his own unique way.
The soft sound paused with a snuff, and then a yawn, head where Zero couldn't see it.
The words didn't quite register yet, though... the creature shifted, trying to stay asleep, and remained right where it was. It didn't seem to be returning to snoring, though its breathing patterns suggested it was dozing off again.
At least Zero didn't have to worry about startling it just yet?
The Hunter frowned at the sleeping animal. It was clearly in a deep sleep, though not so deep now. He could hear the change in breathing pattern, but could tell he was still fast asleep.
"Hey." He didn't come closer. "You need to wake up."

After a minute, so did some light snoring.
