Note: This is... really a free reign kind of thing. The tabloid will show up everywhere in Somarium, random streets of Somni and so on and so forth. It'll be blown around in the wind and then RIGHT IN YOUR FACE, or anything you can think of to get your characters attention. ♥ So characters can respond here and mingle accordingly. Make your own threads, laugh at those involved, attempt to track down the author (though there are zero clues on that matter), or throw fits in public places. Whatever floats your boat.
[It is a quiet day in Somarium. However as soon as dawn breaks on the morning of May 22nd, there is a new addition to the streets. That, my dear reader, is the following beauty. NUMS, I love you so much.]

A LUNCH DATE?!
Now, you would normally think that a little meeting as far as contract negotiations go would be a very simple and professional matter. And typically, they are hardly anything worth any attention. However does it surprise anyone that Mister Joshua, renowned model, is unable to keep himself from entertaining himself with toying with the emotions of his ever-so-adorable assistant, Mister Neku? It is, at first, cordial as the contract is discussed and the offer is laid out upon the table. However things surely cannot remain so simple for long, absolutely not! The atmosphere becomes convoluted as Joshua makes advances, under the flimsy cover that he is experimenting with ‘advertising methods’ and Neku responds with flustered indignation.
But that is just the first of the lovely pair’s hints that soon there will be a grand reveal of a relationship.
The second is how Joshua seems to have absolutely no qualms with suggesting romantic affiliations with Neku, passing or direct! Joshua is clearly an intelligent figure and quite aware that Miss Silvy is not about to let those little remarks go unnoticed, certainly not! So it is simply my duty to follow along and emphasize. Though I could never even begin to suggest that I understand what happens in Joshua’s mind, no, I will do what I can to help him with his aims and hope for the best outcome. Oh, but I am a bit biased and have my own hopes for what he wishes to accomplish… but well, I’m afraid he simply needs to make it easier for me to follow along!
But I’ve digressed, haven’t I? Let’s get back to the report.
And here, my dear readers, I have saved the best for last! For the third - oh goodness, there’s just so much to go through! - being the dreadfully obvious hint that Joshua is dropping. While not everything in their conversation could be relayed accurate, it can be assumed that there was a conversation pertaining to Joshua’s relationship somewhere during the pair’s lunch date. Perhaps tell-tale suggestions for his oh-so-adorably dense to get around to progressing their relationship further? It’s clear that the two have clashing personalities, and while Miss Silvy here is not so cliché as to suggest something like ‘opposites attract’, the relationship cannot remain professional for so long if Joshua’s tauntingly attractive behavior keeps up!

And it seems that where there’s smoke, there is a fire. Joshua and Neku’s mutual friend, Shiki Misaki, seems to have been having some complications of her own. For some reason, the miss seems to be rather frustrated concerning the pair lately. And it can only make one wonder as to the reason why! Of the two, she can be considered more familiar with Neku, and as I had detailed above, Neku’s relationship with Joshua does seem to be progressing in a certain direction. Could it be that Shiki’s irritation stems from a certain feeling of being neglected? Or, could it be possible that she is instead feeling jealous?
After all, she had been in an arranged engagement since she was a child, and she does have a fiancée, who she supposedly does have feelings for and is attached to, but could it be that it is because she is tied down that she is suddenly reaching out towards her dear friend, who she may have come to consider something more? Could it be a last act of defiance before she is to walk down the aisle and remain at Riku’s side for the rest of her life?
But it seems that the complications do not end there as most recently, Shiki has been even more defiant towards the engagement, going so far as to claim that it never existed in the first place! What could the miss mean by that? Is that a way of distancing herself from her fiancée even further, perhaps even putting an end to their arranged marriage? In her jealous and passionate state of mind, will she make a move to separate Joshua and Neku, thus claiming the model’s assistant for herself? And how does her own fiancée feel about this, when the girl that he loved since childhood suddenly no longer expresses any desire to marry him?
Miss Silvy is curious as to whether or not - when this little spat ends - dear Miss Shiki will plead temporary insanity. The poor girl clearly just doesn’t know what she wants!

Oh certainly, it caused enough of a stir when Rise, known pop star and famed entertainer, came to date Akihiko, the son of the stern Inspector Javert. And it seems that even now, things aren’t about to stop boiling for those two.
With her busy schedule as a superstar, it seems that Rise does not have much time when going to see her dear appointed boyfriend. But who is it that she seems to always have time to see? Why, no other than Harley, her art director. In their conveniently placed positions, the two seem to constantly cross paths during the day and recent reports say that they not only see each other at work, but even outside the realms of professionalism. What is this news of a shared cottage in the more rural area of Somarium? Why, Miss Silvy can tell you what it is. It’s a tell-tale hint of a relationship in bloom. After all, in the category of those who are not blood-related, (and as far as Miss Silvy knows, Harvey and Rise do not share a drop of blood) is it not only established couples who take the time to organize a cottage and live together?
Yet it would seem that Akihiko has risen no objection to this! Could it possibly be that he does not know? Oh, the poor boy! Miss Silvy hopes that by some strange twist of fate, he is able to pick up one of these informative pamphlets and become aware. After all, as the Inspector’s son, it would be expected of him to be more on top of things! Especially when this in particular is a matter that relates to his dear girlfriend. While the two may seem to enjoy each other’s company in the public eye, when they are not together, are they aware of what the other is up to? Is Akihiko aware that Rise goes home every night to another man? Another man who is perfectly within her age range and perfectly available to her as well?

WORLD EDGE : COMPLETE COVERAGE
To follow up the scandal that Rise is causing with her boyfriend and artist (see previous article) it seems that the boy band WORLD EDGE isn’t about to let her get the heads up on them! And of course, that is only fitting when one considers how they are a group that simply will not be dismissed or overshadowed by anyone else! To be fair, Miss Silvy gave Rise a whole article to herself. Naturally, WORLD EDGE only deserves the very same! So do not think that Miss Silvy’s decision to write a complete expose on their group is biased, of course not! It is only in the spirit of fairness.
So to help readers unfamiliar with the group, Miss Silvy will provide helpful descriptions!
KING
He is the lead vocalist and also the guitarist. He’s often seen being surprisingly good at whatever he tries his hand at, and has an ego that has swelled his head to the point that Miss Silvy often wonders how it’s possible for him to properly walk through a door without getting stuck. Apparently he also has the habit of skipping classes and mysteriously still manages to keep high grades. Isn’t that perhaps a bit suspicious? Oh, but he has his good qualities in some ways, otherwise ACE wouldn’t be so devoted to him! But more on that in just a bit~! Consider it a healthy dose of suspense.
ACE
ACE is far more humble than KING and thus, far more appealing in that sense! Where KING is said to appeal for he is the dangerous and unwieldy type of man, ACE could be considered far more dependable and simply more endearing! He is still on the same intelligence level as KING, thank goodness for that! He and KING were the first two members of the band before JACK joined the group, and it is clear that the two are close. Ah! But as Miss Silvy said earlier, details on that very soon! It is a promise that WE-seniorshippers should not miss this.
JACK
Don’t think that Miss Silvy will say something so cliché as to save the ‘best for last’, even if she is of the belief that is is true in this situation. JACK, despite being the newest member of the group, is definitely making a proper name for himself already as he has the appeal that the other two lack! While the prior members of the band carry an air of arrogance and overflow with confidence, JACK is far more humble and thus, the most endearing of all three! He is absolutely adorable, though he is still able to keep up with the more mature members of the band.
R-R-Romance?!
Now! For the actual report! Miss Silvy will cease the dilly-dallying now and relay the information that clearly you are dying for!
ACE and KING were the ones who started the band, and they had been in the same class since they were children. KING has the dominant personality that is hard to control, and has thus flourished in the Entertainment industry and helped the group as he became the self-appointed manager. Yet it seems that ACE is still there to assist him every step of the way, a loyal comrade and friend to the otherwise cold, arrogant, moderately irritating, and stand-offish KING. It seems that in this world where KING has come to shut himself out to others emotionally and refuses to request help from others, it is ACE that is at his side and trying to have others understand his ways, and occasionally have him understand other people.
KING’s attempt to distance himself further, even from his long-standing comrade, has failed as ACE continues to chase after him, something that fans are well aware of. The bond is strong and nigh unshakeable with the determination with which ACE runs and longs to follow KING, stand at his side and proudly proclaim that they are friends. While there are taunting nicknames exchanged between the two, that fact only proves to show how close they are! There is no deceit, there is obviously more than what meets the eye with the older members of WORLD EDGE.
Oh! But do not think that it ends there! As it had been said before, JACK is still perfectly capable when it comes to keeping up with the other members of WORLD EDGE, and that still extends to the romance department! It is rumored that he has been seen with a young girl with brown hair, wearing goggles. While they attempt to keep on the down-low, they cannot escape the eyes and ears of Miss Silvy!
I am pleased to report that the identity of the mystery girl who is encroaching upon the heart of the easily-persuaded and humble JACK is none other than a local scientist who answers to the name of Rita. She is said to be fiery and hot-tempered, something that does not match the modest and soft-spoken JACK in the slightest! And in that sense, Miss Silvy is unable to make sense of the relationship in the slightest. Could it be that there are no true feelings included upon it? After all how else could JACK fall for a girl who is clearly on the opposite end of the spectrum from him?
Miss Silvy has her own theory to this and as much as she would hate to besmirch the good name of JACK, she simply cannot keep this thought to herself! Could it be that JACK had come to realize how quickly Miss Silvy was uncovering the scandal that lies within the group that is WORLD EDGE and made move to keep himself from being noticed? However Miss Silvy will not be so easily thrown off! While my heart does go out to the dear Rita girl who had herself caught up in all this, could it be that JACK simply began a romance with her to keep himself preoccupied before he too became smitten with the other members of the group? Perhaps he had seen ACE’s existing struggle with his feelings toward KING and feared for whether or not he would also be caught up in a tidal wave of passion and then lost in his desire to truly become a part of WORLD EDGE? Miss Silvy can only hope that he recognizes his feelings, accepts them, and thus realizes that WORLD EDGE is a group that is tied together with something stronger than any meager friendship, but instead a bond that is far more potent.
Romance of Prey and Predator?
To wrap up this latest issue of the Somarium Reporter, I find it only appropriate to delve into the darker side of things. Please consider the fact that Miss Silvy did indeed venture to the less than noble areas of Somarium, where even the sunlight could not bestow the inhabitants with the understanding and compassion expected of any common human being. Oh, how frightening it was!
However, it cannot be anywhere nearly as frightening as the adrenaline rush of someone that is being preyed upon, where their very life is at stake. The connection between killer and victim is a strange one, something that even Miss Silvy could not begin to fathom. Yet it is undeniable that the connection does exist and the proof is simply plain to see when looking upon Young Master Oz Bezarius, who has come to be a target for the dreaded Nightray brothers, and for my more innocent readers (bless your souls), they are their own branch of mafia. Of course, that is mere speculation on my part, though it is an educated guess once it is known that Master Zai Bezarius had some dealings with the Nightray brothers and treated them badly, thus it can be thought that they would naturally target the heir of the household.
Yet Gilbert Nightray, the one who is appointed to carrying out the gruesome task, does seem to be dawdling the slightest bit in his responsibilities! It can be thought that he was provided a picture of the target and when he is caught glancing at a paper in his hand and holding his gaze for just a fraction of a second longer than one would consider normal, it might very well be an image of the young, charming blond that he has been assigned to kill. Could it be a bizarre fascination with the one that he is targeting?
And even Young Master Oz Bezarius is sharper than he looks, he will likely be catching on to these issues soon, as he has already encountered Gilbert Nightray a few times. Their interactions are easy, an easiness that came rather quickly for a pair that supposedly had nothing to do with each other beforehand. Could it be that it is the rumored ‘love at first sight’? Or, perhaps even…
Could it be a forbidden love?! Secret meetings out of the public eye, where no one in the Nightray family or Bezarius family would be able to see, where matured Gilbert and mentally-matured Oz are able to speak with one another, not having to deal with those distant formalities and actually see each other for who the other is.
There is a rumor floating around about Gilbert that he is rather weak-willed, it is not unthinkable to think that he would come to forget his mission in the face of the undeniable attraction towards his prey, and Oz Bezarius is rather open-minded as well.
Could it be that, in the near future, instead of the reveal of a corpse, it could be the reveal of the forbidden love between the two? Oh! Only time will tell.

Secret meetings out of the public eye, where no one in the Nightray family or Bezarius family would be able to see, where matured Gilbert and mentally-matured Oz are able to speak with one another, not having to deal with those distant formalities and actually see each other for who the other is.
There is a rumor floating around about Gilbert that he is rather weak-willed, it is not unthinkable to think that he would come to forget his mission in the face of the undeniable attraction towards his prey, and Oz Bezarius is rather open-minded as well.
