[Hermione was in the kitchen, sipping tea and staring crossly at the clock as it slowly ticked away. Thus had been her routine for the last two hours, until her ears caught the latch of the door being unlocked. Instantly, she was on her feet, knowing exactly who was entering her house.

[Hands on her hips, she stares at Draco as he enters, her lips in a permanent line.]

Where have you been?!

[he stopped dead in his tracks, staring at her like a deer caught in headlamps for a moment before nudging the door shut behind him. Maybe if he didn't move much, she wouldn't notice him.]

I woke up at Mille's. I...only just got away.

[Hermione clucks her tongue and steps towards him, fingers instantly going to brush the dirt off of his collar.]

I should have known your "father" had something to do with this. Honestly, Draco, the least you could do is leave me a note. How do you think I feel when I wake up to an empty bed, hm?
