[It was probably only a matter of time until the Night Fury decided that those concrete trees needed investigating. Navigating is a bit tough, though; lots of side streets to move down, and the surface felt weird on his feet. Sort of like rock, but not.
Still, there's a lot to look at, and smell...And people aren't yelling "NIGHT FURY!" and "GET DOWN!" when he moves by either.
[Now that he thought about it, there didn't seem to be any dragons in this 'dream realm' either... The buildings had to be far older then he was used to, after all, they were made of stone and metal. Not to mention the fact that they were HUGE. He hadn't even seen trees get as tall as some of these buildings. That meant the dragons weren't attacking here.
Man, everything in this place really was different. It was starting to sink in for Hiccup... What if he couldn't get back in time? What if he couldn't get back at all?!
No. There was no way he would let that happen! Hiccup thumbed through the pages of the notebook in his hands for a second, looking at all of the notes, and the weird objects he had written down, hoping somewhere, he had gotten some kind of answer he may not have realized. However, even all together, the information he had didn't tell him anything. He snapped the book closed with one hand and shoved it into the pocket in his vest as he kept walking...]
[Why were people behind him yelling? Oh gods, what else was going wrong? Hiccup's eyes widened as he turned his head slowly, to see...
... No way. NO WAY! But how--- He got taken by the other vikings! They were supposed to be halfway to the nest by now! Had he escaped? How'd he get here?! ... Who cares! Toothless was alright!]
[He would have smiled and run to greet him, but by now, as he got his mental bearings back, his dragon had nearly reached him and he wasn't slowing down... UH OH.
Hiccup barely managed to start to get his hands up in front of him, with his palms out towards the dragon like he was trying to calm it down, or at least get him to stop.]
Whoa! Whoa! Tooth---- [WHUMPH! Too late! You shoulda gotten out of the way Hiccup!]
[Annnnd, now there's a big Night Fury shoving you with his nose, Hiccup. And quite unaware of the fact that he has you pinned. Nope, now it's time for affectionate nose bumping!
[Hiccup lets out a huge grunt as he slams back into the ground, the wind quickly getting knocked out of him. The boy coughed a few times, and his eyes were shut for a second as he got nudged, but as he managed to get some of his breath back he grinned and reached up to scratch behind the dragon's ears affectionately. Toothless was really heavy, but Hiccup was just as glad as his dragon was right now!]
Unn. [Hiccup's still got a hand to his forehead for a second, but he knows that head butt move. It's affectionate. He didn't mean to hurt him. He looked up at his excitedly circling dragon, and suddenly leapt up, caught up to him, and started scratching the area around his neck.]
You don't even know how worried I was about you! [He still couldn't believe that both of them got brought here, but it couldn't really be by chance, could it?]
[Really don't need to know Night Fury to understand that means "Oh yeah!?" Toothless has been having plenty of worrying of his own to do...Although he at least knew that Hiccup was okay.
He also leeeeeeeeans into that scratch, making a more contented grumble.]
How'd you even get away from everyone? [His scratching is starting to slow down.] I know dad wouldn't have let you go easily, at all.
[Hiccups eyes widened slightly as a thought came to him. He stopped scratching, but still had a hand on Toothless's neck as he leaned over to look down at the dragon's face.]
... You didn't hurt anyone, did you?
[Oh Odin, what if he did? All of Hiccup's work to prove that dragons were good would be completely ruined.]
[YAAAY, MOVIE ENDING SPOILERS!]biteless_nameMay 19 2010, 02:32:24 UTC
"FWRRRRRN."
[He blows and snorts that out as he shakes his head, sounding the world like a horse. They're on good terms with Berk now, remember? All the fish you can eat, and-
He stops shaking his head for a moment, and looks down.
And then slowly lowers his head, so he can give Hiccup's foot a shove with his nose. Because there's no mistake; that's a FOOT at the end of his leg, instead of that new thing.]
[Hiccup backs up as Toothless shakes, trying not to get thrown away from the dragon by accident.] Ok, ok, of course you didn't. Sorry. WHOA!
[He nearly tripped as his leg was pushed. His weight was quickly transfered to the other one for a second, the leg Toothless was nudging was held up slightly. That was weird... He never had taken any particular interest in his leg before.]
[The fact that you've somehow managed to re-grow a limb! He didn't think people could DO that up until now.
Oddly enough, he doesn't look very jealous, OR upset. He likes his buddy too much for either to really latch on. Instead, he gives another whuffle before sitting down, and bringing his head up.
...And possibly giving Hiccup another head butt. This one a little less forceful.]

So, he snuffles a bit more, and then-]
"WHFF!?"

Which means it's time for gallumping towards them! Now people ARE yelling as he plows past, but he doesn't notice. That looks like...]

"WRRRRR!"
[Oh, crud, Hiccup. Night Fury. Currently on a crash course towards you and looking like he might cannonball into you as a greeting. Get down.]
