"I knew it. I'm cursed." Hiccup groaned.
So much for his idea! Apparently, going towards the largest buildings he could see because they were more likely to have more people didn't mean that any of those people would actually be any help! No one was giving him straight answers, and he was getting progressively more and more frustrated. Everyone just kept calling him a 'visitor,' telling him to enjoy his stay and stuff, but no one was even bothering to explain how he got to this place, or more importantly, how to get back! He didn't ask for a vacation! Especially not now! Why did he have to be dragged away at the exact moment that his village needed him the most?! Not only that, but if he didn't do something fast, if the huge dragon at the dragon's nest didn't kill everyone, they would still kill Toothless!
But even through confusion and desperation, Hiccup still couldn't help but keep his small sketchbook out to constantly scratch down notes and make fast scribbles while he made his way through the strange settlement. Everything was foreign to him... Nothing he saw made any sense. The buildings were huge, and made of materials he never had imagined before. The people were dressed strangely, and no one had the sort of viking-like attitude Hiccup was accustomed to. He didn't know what he was expecting... But if the people here wouldn't help, maybe he would be able to come up with some answers on his own.
