[If Tim was expecting to find trouble or any difficulty at all waiting for him in the lab, he was wrong. Though she had been much more careful with the people she allowed inside after being assaulted twice within her own home, Naomi still hadn't put in any measure of security besides reminding herself to use the deadbolt on her front door more often. Even if he had been gone for months, it was hard for the woman to really feel insecure after having had Vamp around as a bodyguard. Locking the door was all she needed to feel safe, nowadays.

Stepping into the 'empty' room, the dark-haired woman didn't take any notice of Tim's stealthy entrance. There was far too much on her mind already.]

[Long silence. Tim wanted to be sure of what she would do first. When it seemed safe enough, he dropped his cape for it hang from his back. The noise of a flapping cloak surely alerted Naomi, as Red Robin made his presence known.]

Dr. Naomi Hunter.

DODGE QUICK

[Though the rustling of his cloak may have escaped her attention, the sound of his voice had no chance of going undetected. Her eyes widening at the sight of the strange man in her home, a brief rush of adrenaline courses through the sickly scientist as she backs away from him quickly. Bad move, Tim. ]

Wha-! [The woman may not have the fighting skills that her soldier family did, but that didn't mean she wouldn't at least try to protect herself. Reaching for a glass beaker on the counter next to her, Naomi flings it towards the cloaked figure. Fortunately for the mysterious man, her aim isn't perfect.]

Get out! Get out!

[After tossing the glass, her small hand immediately reaches for the Dreamberry within her lab coat pocket. Her brother will come and take care of this problem for her.]

[But that was the only move he could possibly make! After easily dodging that glass, Tim showed he meant business. He threw one of his metal throwing disks between Naomi's hand and her Dreamberry, knocking off the device before she could ever touch that dial. This was no time to play.]

No. I'm not leaving until I have my answers.

[scientize]

[What a way to make a girl feel safe.

Retracting the hand to her barely buttoned up chest, the woman turns around and, hopefully unexpectedly, runs out the door she had only just walked through. She's not getting a friendly vibe from you at all.

Even in her heels, she can run pretty fast when being pursued.]

[If Naomi ran fast, Tim could probably run faster. Ninja-training, anyone? He went to the nearest window, hopped right out to climb to the roof, and ran across it to drop down and reach the next entrance: Naomi's next exit. Tim entered as he locked the door behind him.]

Like I said, I'm not leaving.

[Cornering a woman as frightened as Naomi isn't the smartest move the former Boy Wonder has ever done.

A hand thrusts deep into her pockets, probing for anything she can use to defend herself as she continues to back up, attempting to lengthen the distance between them. The only thing she can come up with is the syringe she uses to treat her own illness. As important as it may be to keeping her alive, her life could be over much sooner if she lets this masked freak get his hands on her.

She holds the needle up threateningly.]

Get the hell away from me.

[This was also the worst impression he's ever given someone. Is this what Batman got all the time, back in the day!? Stupid, stupid.. This was not the best approach. Tim ditched wearing the cloak over himself, and assumed a less scary demeanor. He still looked hella serious, however, and was hoping to leave as soon as he got what he wanted.]

Look, Doctor. I never said I would hurt you. Calm down!

[scientize]

You, a stranger, break into my home, wait for me in the corner of my lab, and still have the nerve to tell me to calm down?!

Who are you and what the hell do you want?

[gourmetburgers]

I didn't literally break anything. It was all I could do to reach you quickly.

Consider me a new kid in town who just has several questions.

[scientize]

[She glares daggers at him from her position across the room.]

And you didn't have the sense to call?!

[gourmetburgers]

I'm better off asking you personally. My inquiries kind of border on that.

[scientize]

[She lowers the needle.]

What is it?

You were able to leave Somarium at least once. Is that correct?

[scientize]

[Alright, so it's only another interrogation. She's been through these before. One of the perks of being suspected of terrorism.

Though the syringe isn't being used to defend herself, the woman keeps it in hand as her slender arms cross over her chest. She's much calmer now, giving the man in front of her a good looking at before she allows herself to reply.]

Yes, that's correct. Only once, so far.

[And hopefully that will be all.]
