[ Toph doesn't have to fumble about for long - eventually someone crossed her path, though intentionally. The way Toph was stumbling about, Terra thought she might be ill. And why wasn't she wearing shoes, the half esper wondered. ]

[Coincidentally, Mai happens to be walking around the area when she notices Toph. The clothes are the first thing she notices--they definitely look like something from her world. That's enough to catch her attention.

Then, she recognizes Toph.]
