Another newcomer. Would they ever stop? Ange peered at the most recent resident of Somarium with a bit of curiousity and a bit of apprehension...after all, not everyone was friendly.
"Excuse me?" Light promptly answered back, eyes peering up as he turned to view the approaching woman. "A Dreamberry, did you say? You don't mean this cell phone, do you?" He grasped the item in his hand as he deduced that, giving it another observant glance over. "Sorry, you must have overheard me..."
She wouldn't have bothered, but as someone had so recently said, they were all stuck in the same place, weren't they? She had been new here once, and now someone else was. Might as well help out a little, at least.
"That's it. You can see other people's dreams through it," she stated, without much enthusiasm. After all, who wanted other people to see their dreams?
"Other people's dreams? As in, other residents?" He found that to be slightly mind-boggling, if not oddly amusing. "So let me get this straight.. we're all trapped in a dream world called Somarium, and inside that dream world, even more dreams are being imagined? Dreams within a dream? Huh..." His eyes wandered, reviewing the thought of it. "Sounds pretty interesting."
"Light Yagami," he returned, politely offering his hand. "Don't worry about it. And thanks for the information. Truth be told, I'm... not sure how comfortable I'll feel having all my dreams broadcast to the public either, but I guess it's something I'll just have to get used to."
He retracted his hand afterwards, pocketing it into the side of his jacket. "Heh, I doubt that. People are nosy, there's no way I can believe they'd all just look over the chance to see into someone's dream life. It's wishful thinking, but I'm not getting my hopes up."
"At least you're realistic," she said, with a small smile. In this kind of place, where little to nothing made sense, it was better to be a realist than an idealist. Or...maybe a little of both. They couldn't get their hopes up that everything would go back to normal just like that.
"One question," she started, in her effort to gather information about this place, "What were you doing before you came here?"
"That's a good question," Light returned, rolling his eyes in thought. "...From what I can remember, I must have been getting ready to go to sleep." While that wasn't completely the truth, it was as much as Light would offer to a clueless stranger. He wasn't ready to tell about how his entire memory gambit turned out successful, or about L's task force finally encountering a Shinigami. She didn't need to know those things.
The only important thing was that he hadn't been dead. The crimson-haired girl sighed, still not getting much information from these questionings, and nodded her head slowly.
"Good to hear," she said flatly, trying not to be envious that everyone had been somewhere pleasant before coming to Somarium, and she had been...well. "If there isn't anything else you need to know, I guess I'll get going."
"All right then, take care..." Light responded back, taking note of her sudden reluctance. "I appreciate the talk. Maybe I'll be seeing you around some time."

"That's right," she said, as opposed to repeating everything he had stated. "No one knows how we got here, and no one understands it."
She half-glanced at the floating castle, before looking back at the young man.
"Sorry. I'm Ushiromiya Ange."

Wishful thinking, but...

If there was a pattern, she would find it.
