Klavier hung up his Dreamberry, staring at the screen. Trucy's message was the clearest one he'd heard so far; anyone else broadcast to him ended up being drowned out in a mess of static. He considered himself very lucky -- when he woke up in the middle of the city, he'd found both Snake and Raiden close by (which, is probably what prevented him from being eaten by a Grue attacked by whatever lurked in the darkness). The world had taken quite the drastic shift; the constant darkness was only slightly alarming. At least he wasn’t alone.
"Hey, Raiden? Snake?" he called, trying to track down where the two men went. He squinted through the darkness, trying to make out the lights on Raiden’s visor. “Where are you guys? We’ve got trouble... We need to get to the village."
