Naoya, for his part, is fairly good at reading maps. The problem was...
It had been summer in Tokyo, so he hadn't been wearing tabi. By the time he's gotten to the fountain, his feet are very much numb. Oh, well. But he does look around...that girl is the one he recognizes from the video chat, so it must be..
Riku hadn't been far, and the walk to the fountain he saw close by hadn't been a long one. Trying to ignore the goose bumps that had exploded over his skin, he made his way across the frozen ground, suddenly glad for his habitalual sneakers. Now if only he could have learned to wear something warmer than a tank top and a vest.
Fighting off a small shiver, he places a small smile on his face as bright green eyes land on her, sitting peacefully by the fountain. She looked the same as she had the last time he had seen her, which was surprising and not all at the same time. "Hey." His voice became softer than normal as he cocked his head as he reached her. "Told you I'd be able to find it."
[ooc: I hope it's alright with you if we do it in two seperate threads so it'll be two different interactions? If it's not just let me know and I'll change it. xD]
XD I don't actually care. it's totally up to you two.crayon_memoriesDecember 11 2009, 07:02:22 UTC
Namine looks up at Riku and her face breaks out into a smile. "Riku!" she calls and jumps up to greet him, grabbing the jacket she had brought.
"Here, it's on loan but should fit you. You look slightly less frozen than I was when I first arrived." her eyes dance amused, because he would know what she normally wore, and how 'practical' that was for the snow.
"I'm glad you did. Although I didn't doubt you. You seem to have a good sense of direction," she giggles and adds, "or at least you seemed pretty adept at getting around while blindfolded."
Okies, just checking to make sure! x)dawnsguardianDecember 11 2009, 07:19:51 UTC
"Thanks." He was thankful for the jacket, taking it from her carefully and slipping it on, instantly glad for it's warmth against his bare arms. His jeans and sneakers were suited for the weather, but the shirts he had chosen definitely weren't.
He's silent for a moment at her words, unsure if he should take it as the compliment she more than likely meant it as and let it roll of his back, or ignore it. But in the end, ignore something wouldn't make it go away.
^^ totally. do you care if it's closed or not?crayon_memoriesDecember 11 2009, 08:39:10 UTC
She smiles "That makes sense." She says nodding. She looks up at Riku and then examines him; her eyes doing a check to make sure that he's all in one piece.
"It's so great to see you again." she finally says. "You-you. Not...Him-you." She blushes slightly and looks down, brushing some hair out of her face.
"Do you want to go somewhere a little warmer?" She asks him.
