Saburo wasn't hiding. Of course he wasn't, hiding was for people without skills. It was just that he'd prefer to not get in any sort of fight at the moment, and in any case, he was almost out of paper. And without paper to guard himself, he was a dead man.
So what he was doing was more like lurking, in an alley. A dark, shadowy alley that could have been hiding anything- alright, maybe it hadn't been such a good place to hide, after all. Something roared in the near distance, too close for comfort, and he darted out of the alley- only to collide with someone else going the other way.
"Argh! What the hell..." Hikaru picked himself painfully off the ground. At least the collision had knocked some of the terror out of him. "Who are you?" he asked sharply, actually caring about the answer. It was just the sudden realization of how alone he had been, probably, but for once it mattered to know who this stranger was.
Saburo picked himself up carefully, brushed the dust off his pants, checked to make sure the pen wasn't broken- if it was, then he was most certainly screwed -and then paid attention to the person he'd run into. He seemed to be running into people a lot, and it wasn't entirely pleasant. "Saburo Mutsumi," he said, looking the new guy over; he didn't look particularly dangerous, but you never knew. "And you are...?"
"Hitachiin," Hikaru said, pausing before finishing. His automatic reaction was to introduce himself as Kaoru again like how he had at Halloween, but... "Hikaru Hitachiin." He looked over Saburo as well and crossed his arms over his chest. So it was just them, huh? Better than being alone.
