Thankfully for Elliot, a scarf covered his neck and kept the brutal chill of the season off of his neck. His tan colored ears flopped a bit in the cold while he glanced around, his hand set at his sides. The Dreamberry was being fiddled with in his hand.
He looked particularly unamused. Blood was nowhere to be seen, and...even if he could see Blood again, he wouldn't be able to tell him where they had ended up.
Tan ears..? This certainly was something to drive his thoughts of pessimism away. The look on the face of the dormouse was suddenly overcome with joy as he battled off the snow so bounding over to something familiar could be had.
"ELLIOT!" came the slightly masculine call of glee as Pierce waded his way through the snow.
The mouse stopped short in his tracks. Just a few feet away...
Pierce bit his bottom lip, "You're the March Hare... L-like a legend." He didn't want to stay back. The other was probably warmer then he was, and... Idol.
Boris wandered about Espoir, though at a slower pace than he usually would. He doubted he could manage a run, maybe not even a jog what with the wound he got from Ace. It wasn't like he could just stay in the tent in the carnival grounds for very long now. Not with Doll gone, he had to at least try to look for her.
... but instead of Doll, he found someone else. He recognized that voice, though the memory was a bit dulled now with all the time he'd spent in Somarium. Immediately he had to fight back his instincts to leap at the mouse, instead bitterly approaching him from behind, mumbling to himself, "I think the IQ average in Somarium just dropped drastically." With a sigh, he then shouted at the Dormouse, "Hey! Stupid mouse!"
That voice... Even with the way the mouse was shivering already, that distinct voice sent a noticably sharp shiver up the back of his spine, almost too terrified to turn around and face what he knew was approaching.
That head did turn though, and as expected, the cat was there, "A-a-ah..."
Already making fun of him too? This one was too cruel! At the very least he had yet to pull out a fork and knife yet, which meant he was still safe, right? RIGHT? "...D-don't call me names like that," he mumbled doing his best to put on a tough front.
The only reason he didn't pull out the fork and knife was because he was too injured to give chase. And that thought saddened him slightly, seeing as it would be nice for a good bout of nostalgia.
So instead, Boris stopped walking once he was in front of Pierce, within arm's length in case the mouse needed a good smack in the head. He caught the mumbling and retorted with a simple, "Make me."
Though after the initial insulting was done, Boris wasn't sure what course of action to take next. He was supposed to be looking for Doll, and while his normal reaction would be to chase Pierce, that would prove difficult with a wound that was pretty much only half-healed. The Cheshire Cat internally cursed Ace as the silence settled.
Pierce was more then happy to avoid such nostalgia for now as he was too cold to run and didn't want to be eatten.
The smack was also not very welcome as a cry escaped the mouse, covering his head and whimpering ever so slightly. Doing his best to fight off those tears in front of the other. He knew the other would only tease him more if that happened but it was just so hard. Sudden silence on the cat's end though...
"...." he peaked a look at the other, "Something's wrong..." He sniffed the air, "You smell like blood..."
My, it sure got cold in the winter here, didn't it? It sort of reminded her of her own home - and how it used to snow. Although this snow was whiter.
She strolled the village briskly before she spotted a man hugging himself tightly. He looked so cold, poor thing. But .. those ears. Was he another pervert...? Regardless, she didn't really want to feel responsible if he was discovered dead next morning Alice approached him carefully.
Another familiar voice for the young lady--and her face! That look of absolute gratitude and he lept forward from his frigid stance to cling to the girl.
She stumbles when the man with mouse ears clings to her. And he knew her name - how did... Oh no. With a single cold sweat running down her cheek, she looked at him. "Are you from Country of Hearts? I've never seen you before..."
That pleading look as he glanced up to her, "You... don't remember me?"
To him this was... Heart breaking. The one person he had truel come to like in that world - who wasn't a rabbit - had forgotten him! He was doing his best to fight off any more tears.
[ Oh god, no. DDD: There was fear in that green eye as he caught a glimpse of that uniform in the corner of his eye, shutting up and being as frozen as a statue. You saw and heard nothing, sir. Carry on. ]
[ Trying so hard to stay still and keep that shivering to a minimum as the man passed.
Bright hair against the white snow though.... His ears were pressed to his head while his tail stuck out, frozen literally and partically in fear. He'd make a break for it if the knight saw him!! ]
