The purple-haired doppelganger sat quietly on the edge of Espoir's main attraction as he waited for his twin, the stone fountain quietly spouting water. Dipping long fingers into the rippling pool, the soft murmur of falling streams made the perfect background for his thoughts. Thoughts that were as chaotic as the night was peaceful.
It's weird. He doesn't remember any of it, I'm sure. There's not even a trace, and no sign that his head's been tampered with, even if things are all fuzzy...no GN particles here, I guess. But how could he NOT know? This place is weird. Dreams everywhere, all these strange things, physics not making sense, this little nowheresville in the middle of a city. Deserts around that. Everything deserted, and everyone else just as weird. Weird weird weird...
His face twisted into a small moue of disgust, as much at himself as at the situation. It was hardly fair, to be thrust into this situation without a word of warning. It was lucky he did so well on the fly. And on the bright side, who knew? Perhaps this time, things would be different. Perhaps Tieria would listen. He'd find the right button to push. Heaven knew he'd seen enough of Tieria to know those buttons.
