Cold.
Kallen's eyes snapped open, but she couldn't move. It was as if her body wasn't her own anymore. What was more, in Japan, there was a belief that sleep paralysis--times when when you woke

Very weird.
Clad in her lolita attire, the witch mused on the strange times that she had worn it. She tied the finishing loop on her little hat and glanced upwards at the dark, inky night. A few bats flitted past the full moon and C.C. took her time to watch them pass and fade into the dark. Dusting her clothes she had been about to push the creaky gates open but found herself suddenly whisked upwards into the air.
Yellow eyes blinking in alarm; the witch glanced behind her to find the end of a broomstick. Her lips formed a soft 'o' as she stared at her hands; still halfway in the position as if she were to open something.
She was on a broomstick. Her lips trembled with the insane urge to smirk. She found it ironic on so many levels. She was rising in an air current high above the grounds of the strange area; where mist was appearing with each rise of her strange steed.
Placing her hands carefully around the front point of the broom; C.C. locked her legs together and assumed it would be smooth sailing from now on.
She thought wrong. As she slowly descended upwards; she could see yet another broomstick floating upwards to meet her. Oh, except no one was on it. That and it had /teeth/. Her heart pounded in her otherwise smooth-breathing chest and a trace of alarm entered her system.
"...Hm. Not very cute." She clucked her tounge disapprovingly; before blinking once as she noticed the broom slowly gaining in speed. She sighed exasperatedly.
"Well, feel like going faster?" She said sarcastically; smirking with her wolfish features growing. Of course that was a mistake. She zipped through the air now; pigtails flying out against her face and her clothes whipping in the chilled wind.
And..that and her hands were cold and it was hard to steer.
...Oh, and was that a redhead on the ground? What was in front of her--Oh, the roof. Nice shingles----
No, that was C.C. flying into the side of the roof.

He sat up slowly, shivering in the cold, blinking as his eyes adjusted to the dark. Tombstones, all around him, nothing but tombstones, cold and austere, in their immaculate little rows.
Suzaku frowned and stared in confusion. He stood up slowly, brushing the dirt and bugs off of his skirt [still in the schoolgirl outfit, he noted], and glanced around the graveyard.
The rigid black fence was enormously high-- he doubted even he could climb it. And the only other place to go was the old, rotting house in the distance. If it could even be called a house; it was far bigger than any other house he'd seen.
Suzaku blinked and frowned suddenly. What was that speeding toward the--
CRASH!
Slightly alarmed and definitely on guard, Suzaku broke into a run, skirting around the tombstones by his feet as he headed for the house.

That feeling lasted for two seconds, which was about when she heard a loud sliding CRASH in the roof over her head. (It also meant that, with such a big distraction, Kallen didn't notice Suzaku on the other side of the cemetery at all.)
"UWAAAAAGGGHHH!!!" Kallen shrieked, jumping backwards and stumbling over a low headstone. She wheeled her arms back and managed to grab the edge of a larger grave to keep herself from cracking her head on granite, and stared, heart ramming against her bunny-suited chest, at whatever had crashed up ahead. Mustering up her courage, she yelled, "Who's up there!? C'mon out and show yourself!!"

She meant OW.
That had not been expected. Groaning a bit, the witch slowly put her 'car' in reverse; slowly staring at the damage. Oh, well, it seemed the spiral above the said area had sunken into a room below. C.C. could see the debris and all of it.
She winced a bit. She had hit her head on the way down. It throbbed slightly and she could only sigh darkly. "Well, this is very fun.." She muttered; slowly backing up, the moon eerie on her back.
Then of course, someone had to scream. She winced; closing her eyes tightly as she almost let go of the broom. Her head throbbed more as she spinned around; eyes narrowing. She squinted a bit; and slowly coasted towards the source; where she could see a red head of hair.
She smiled thinly. Kallen always knew when to blab didn't she? Slightly irritated; the witch floated on her broomstick from above; looking every inch the 'Gray Witch' she had been named.
Blinked her large yellow eyes at the set of ears on her head.
"Hitting the casino's early, Kallen?"
[She'll crash next post. :3]

So there was only one thing he could do, he supposed.
Slowing to a walk, he came up slowly behind the girl-- carefully, because who knew what you could find in a graveyard at night-- and put his hand on her shoulder. "Excuse me..."

But before the redhead could get much further than gritting her teeth, a hand clapped on her shoulder. A bad idea, when the shoulder in question belonged to a girl had already had a close encounter with the dead kind.
"EEYAAAUGH!!" she shrieked, before attempting to whip around and deck whoever was behind her. Hit or miss, Kallen would then stop dead and stare, astonished, at Suzaku. And his schoolgirl uniform. "S-Suzaku!?" she gasped, put in mind immediately of the cross-dressing festival Milly had put on a year ago--after all, it was the exact same uniform!--and it confused her enough to wonder if this Suzaku was from before everything at Kaminejima and the things that had led up to it, because if so, she just totally blew her cover--
And so while Kallen was trying to figure out how the hell she should try to field this, well, she presented just such a perfectly soft landing spot for if a certain witch's broom gave out on her, didn't she? And if C.C. managed to barrel them both together into Suzaku... Well, they WERE all wearing fetish outfits. It'd be like something out of a bad fanfic!
Cough, cough.

The witch blinked once, blinked twice, then stared at it.
"What's wrong with you?" She pat the broom with a scowl; which of course, the broom did not like. Because uh, hello, broom was thinkin' deep on that threesome thing. And ugh, this paragraph began to sound like fanfic, which deeply, deeply scarred the poor player. She'd seen...many a fanfic.
Her yellow eyes widened as she heard another scream; which set the broom once again on a warpath in the air. With a slight yelp; C.C. flew forward; doing a double loop around the roof and then above the trees. She smiled a bit. Somehow this was very fun! She put her hands out like she was spreading wings; her face not showing the excitement she was feeling because C.C. is hello, a lolita.
And they do this while remainable unbelievably raepable to old men:
T.T
Of course; as she was doing this the broom could no longer contain his want and catapaulted in a straight line, okay, jagged line toward the ground.
Somehow Kallen's bunny ears were looking like landing lights.
With big eyes C.C. began to crash.

He was about to continue, but then out of the corner of his eye he saw the figure behind Kallen falling out of the sky. Eyes widening, he began to rush over.

But that is that and this is this, "this" being a broom-riding C.C. whamming into Kallen from behind just as she's turning around to see what Suzaku's staring at behind her, and C.C. flinging the both of them headlong into Suzaku. Catch, Ms. Schoolgirl! And be quick about it; it seems like all this noise is waking up some grumpy residents from underground...

Her head and ribs now ached and while all for excitement added to her immortal life, she wasn't exactly thrilled on this moment.
Nonetheless, She twisted her bruised body against Kallen's and Suzaku's chest and blinked at them wryly.
"Well, Happy Halloween you two."

A moment later, the other girl's voice registered in Suzaku's mind, and he blinked up at the two of them in surprise. "C.C., too?" Blink, blink.
He didn't have any more time to ponder the situation, though, as right after that, a hand shot up. A very dead, very decaying hand. Out of the ground. From below the grave they were right next to...

But then that thought was derailed by an upward-pointing. Not just the grave they were right next to. There were hands popping up with a sound of crumbling earth that, accumulated, sounded like an avalanche of pebbles on all sides as rotted corpses began to climb from their graves. Kallen stared with mute horror, saying slowly, "Guys..."
She crawled backwards and rocked onto her high heels, staring at the cemetery as it came to unlife, keenly aware that her knife was plastic and useless. "Guys, move it, we don't want to be here--"
But where else could they go? Kallen cast her gaze around swiftly. The fence was far too high to climb. The catacomb door was still open, but did they want to go underground where there were more corpses? The redhead shot her gaze down, specifically at the broom still between C.C.'s legs.
"Hey, C.C., will that thing still fly!?" she demanded.

"...What?" She muttered; trying to fix her pigtails which had quickly fallen out. Glancing at Suzaku; then at Kallen, the witch blinked again at the bodies.
Her face contorted into a slight grimace; a look of mild disturbance on C.C.'s features as she slowly opened her mouth then closed it again.
"I thought I had seen everything.." The witch mused, whistling for effect before her head turned sharply to Kallen's question.
Glancing at her broom; C.C. nodded slowly.
"Well, it seems to respond to my voice, yes. I think so. But you don't mind hitting more roofs did you?" Her features were serious now.
