The motorcycle whizzing by immediately caught Diana's attention. She rose and was about to take off after it, actually hovering a few feet off the ground, when it suddenly pulled to a stop and the biker got off. Diana dropped back to the ground, knowing he had to have seen her if he'd stopped and was now getting off.

For just a split second she thought she was seeing things and that it was Steve Trevor, but all too quickly she realized that this man only had a passing resemblance to the man she knew from her time in war torn Europe. If his appearance hadn't tipped her off then his words certainly would. He didn't have the same voice and he certainly didn't have the same bravado.

She also didn't notice that she was making him uncomfortable with her outfit. "No," she said simply, and then continued with a serious tone, "Where would you like me to start? The fact that I have no idea where I am or the fact that I cannot contact my friends?" She hoped her tone didn't come across as antagonistic so she added, "If you could tell me the name of this place then that would be great." She gave him a once over, "You appear human so I am assuming we're not on an alien planet."

Her reaction confuses Steve. It was almost as though she thought she knew him, but realized she was wrong. Of course, he understood that. He had done the same thing when he first got here.

"I'm sorry to tell you, but you're in a place called Somarium now. It's a dream world. So it's like your dreams took you to another world sort of thing. I know, it sounds impossible, but it's the truth." He gave a soft grin, knowing this probably sounded insane. It still confused him. "It's not really alien. But people show up here from all different worlds and all different times."

A brief flicker of concern crossed her features. She remembered a case file from the League back in their early days when John Dee aka Doctor Destiny had trapped several members in endless dreams (or perhaps nightmares would be a better term). She couldn't help but briefly wonder if this was the case here, at least until she thought about it for a moment and realized it wasn't quite matching up with how Flash and the others had described their experiences in the report. No, this was something else involving dreams, so while it wasn't Dee it was still troubling.

"I see. No, it doesn't sound impossible at all," she gave him a smirk, "trust me, I've dealt with stranger concepts." She could probably review a year of her life in the Justice League alone and top a dream world at least three times. Time travel, deaging spells, crossing dimensions, as far as she was concerned this was just another day at the League. Of course, so far she was the only member here (that she knew of). Diana pulled herself out of her thoughts, despite being familiar with the concept she was still filled with a lot of questions. "So you're saying I dreamed myself here, right? Is there more you can tell me about this place?"

"You have? Well that saves me some trouble. Didn't believe it at first, myself." Steve said, giving her a soft grin. He honestly was expecting more of a struggle with making her believe it. But having her accept the idea saved him a lot of trouble; he wasn't going to complain.

To her question, he nodded. "There's a lot I still don't get, probably because I don't think anyone knows the answers. But I know we're stuck here. There's no way of leaving. At least, by choice. People come and go often, but no one has a choice in the matter."

"I might have found it harder to believe a few years ago," she replied, thinking of how ignorant of the world she had been back then. Granted, she probably would have accepted it as a type of magic given that the Amazons were no stranger to such concepts. She could sympathize with Steve in that regard, but she was glad they could skip over some of the basics of simply accepting what was going on.

She pondered over that, "That is troublesome, but if there is no way out then are their accomidations for those of us stuck here?" It sounded like a lot of people wound up here and there had to be a place they were staying or making a living, even if it was just temporary.

"Gotta say, it would've been harder for me a few years back, too. After you see some things, almost anything seems possible." Steve mumbled, briefly curious what the woman had gone through. But it wasn't any of his business, so he wasn't about to ask.

To her next question, he nodded. "You're in the village, Espoir, right now. There's a city just past this, and there are homes, apartments, shops...everything, really. If you could get stranded any place, you'd want it to be like this."

Diana chuckled, "It seems we both live interesting lives Mr...." She paused and looked up at him, "I'm sorry, I don't think I got your name."

Diana made note of the shops, she'd want to get some civilian clothes if she was going to be stuck here long. There was no sense in wearing the armor constantly. "Any recommendations for places to stay, if we are stranded here...although I'm not sure I can be as relaxed about it as you are," Diana replied. As far as she was concerned even a nice place like this was still trapping her, and a gilded prison was still a prison nevertheless.

"Steve. Steve Rogers. Don't believe I caught yours, either, ma'am."

"I've got a nice suite in the nicer part of the city. That's Somni. But everywhere seems pretty nice. We're in Espoir right now." He paused, then rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. "Well, you might not want to get too relaxed. This place gets dangerous sometimes."

"Diana," she replied, trying not to think too much about the fact that his first name was also Steve. It made her think of Trevor too much and that was something she just couldn't do right now.

She looked away, "So this village is surrounded by a larger city. Seems a little strange, usually you would think the village would be outside the city," she mused. "Danger? What kind?" She looked back to him and smirked confidently, "Don't worry, I'm quite used to handling myself around danger."

"Nice to meet you, Diana."

Steve shrugged, not able to hide a small grin. "Y'know, I never thought about it like that. Guess you're right." A little strange, in some ways.

He gave her a curious eyebrow raise when she suggested she could handle herself in danger, but he didn't question it. Just look at Peggy, after all. "Weird things happen according to the moon phases, apparently. I've only been here for one, and it was pretty bad." At least, it was bad for the people stuck in the dreamscape. Which was where he was, of course.
