Note: Also, I'm not sure I can avoid PH spoilers with this one, so that's a heads-up. But if you don't want to be directly spoiled I should be able to be very vague. Just say so, and stay out of the canonmate threads.
Honestly, there was so much on Leo's mind right now that not even books did much to distract him.
With finding out the deal with the voices, who he was to Vincent back home and why Vincent's reaction to seeing him like this had been what it was, with the whole dreamwalking training and all the usual concerns... It was very hard to relax and just settle down and read.
He wasn't wearing glasses today because it just felt... off.
It angered him, how he found himself spending more time looking for books because he was too distracted by thoughts to notice when he began spacing out and not seeing where he was looking than he spent time actually reading. And when he actually did read, his mind kept drifting elsewhere most of the time.
He didn't want to be this distracted by anything but books, damn it. And yet there was nothing he could do about it.
And now he was going along the shelves again, trying to find new books that looked good. Hmmm...
