Setting up a workshop on his own, without a real construction crew was still taking longer than he would've liked and he thought of the workshop back in Malibu in its state of disrepair after the birthday party and then the impromptu remodel that had been required to create a new energy source for the arc reactor.  The workshop still wasn't actually finished here but considering the setbacks he'd already encountered - seriously, how did people even get a damn thing done with all of that going on every five minutes - he'd done pretty damn well to get to this point.  Of course the most important part of the workshop was the mechanism for getting in and out of the suit because getting out of it by hand after he'd arrived had taken hours and then getting back into it to help with the floods had taken too long too.

It wasn't like the workshop at home though, still pretty empty, much smaller, no cars lining the sides and his helper robots hadn't been built yet but pretty much every variety of tool he could find had a home in large metal filing containers, some still scattered across the workbenches and there were several computers; he'd get the hologram parts up and running just as soon as he finished installing Jarvis on the new software too.

But today it was show and tell day, one of the fridges with cold drinks and alcohol in it and junk food dropped on a table.  Look, he wasn't good at the organisation thing like this but he'd said he'd provide food and drink and there it was, he'd not promised that any of it would be particularly great food or drink.  Now all that was left was waiting to see if anyone would show up as he went back to finetuning the wiring in one of the handpieces to make sure everything was working absolutely perfectly.
