[ It had been a few days since Alphonse woke up mysteriously with the body of a 14 year old girl. He didn't remember 'normal' actions like walking and talking and making facial

Uchiha Itachi had been walking down the street, exploring a bit more of Somarium since his arrival only days ago. He didn't know the area really yet--he had been preoccupied with... other things.

However, finding a good shop that sold any kind of confection had been high on his list. To say Itachi had a sweet tooth was... a bit of an understatement. In fact, it was kind of a hobby, to find these places and savor everything within. He would travel with Kisame and stop t them from time-to-time to savor all kind of treats.

When he saw Alphonse with the candy, Itachi slowly came to a stop right in front of him on the path. The man was dressed in his blue shinobi uniform with this fishnet V-neck collar and matching navy sandals. His Akatsuki cloak was back at the suite he was living in, and his headband had long since vanished back in his world. However, crimson eyes stared over at Alphonse--or rather, the girl--and directly onto the blur of a bag he managed to capture with steadily failing eyes.

"...Where did you get those?"

Al had been in the middle of savoring a giant, gummy candy when he heard someone approach. He quickly swallowed and looked up at the newcomer, but was lost for words for a moment. This guy, he looked like a boy that Al had met a little while ago. Sasuke... was the name of that boy. Except, this one looked a little older and was dressed differently.

He pointed at the street behind him. "There's a shop down that way. You probably couldn't miss it if you tried; it has quite a colorful sign and stands out."

Itachi gave a nod at the information. Indeed, Itachi was Sasuke's brother... not that they were on speaking terms... unless speaking included Sasuke yelling at Itachi. Not that the older Uchiha expected anything less.

His ruby eyes were lingering on the gummy. He had never seen one before.

"...What kind is that?" He asked, gesturing right to the colorful sweet. Itachi wasn't from a time where...gummies... existed.

Al had never actually seen a gummy candy before now, either. He'd actually pointed at the treat and asked the shopkeeper the very same question.

"It's called a gummy~" he said cheerfully, reaching into his bag for a fresh one: a red one in the shape of a bear. Al held the candy out for the other to see. "Would you like to try one? It has a strange chewy texture." Actually, slimy might've been a better word to describe the sweet, but that doesn't particularly sound like a very positive term to give to a candy.

[ Al looks up from his bag and smiles brightly; now that he's a little more used to being a girl, he's not quite as jittery and nervous as he was when he first found out. ]

Hi~

[ He'd just reached his hand into the bag before this new girl walked up, and was holding a red lollipop in his hands. He holds it out toward the newcomer; he could always get more, plus, there's still a bunch of different candies he hadn't tried yet. ]

Would you like one?

[ Al smiles back as he passes the candy over to Juri. ]

I'm going to try all the different types of foods here~ Is there one in particular you'd recommend trying?

[There had been no reason for him to keep tabs on the Elrics before they had opened the Portal of Truth. Therefore, he does not know what the younger Elric boy looks like as a human, let alone a human female.]

[He was sitting on the fountain when a human girl exited a store with sweets.]

Good day to you.

[He nods his head in the unknown child's direction, for politeness' sake.]

[ Al freezes for a brief moment at the greeting. He almost drops his bag of sweets, but manages to grab it just in time. ]

[ After some quick thinking, however, he decides that now that he is human -- and a girl human, for that matter -- it might be safer to just pretend he has no idea who Wrath is. ]

And you too, sir~

[It's not hard to notice the girl's loss of composure.]

Did I startle you? I apologize.

[He's trying.]

Oh, hey there girl!Al! Armstrong just happened to be passing by when he spotted you.

"Ah, Alphonse, good to see you that you are out and about." He would hate to see the poor boy - now girl - all bummed and locked up in his room. And it was nice to see that he was enjoying the things he couldn't do as a suit of armor, like eating.

Thankfully, Al was never one to bum out for very long. But even still, it was a little embarrassing and very awkward to bump into someone he knew in this new body of his.

Even still, he gave Armstrong a friendly wave. Al would've said a greeting in return, but presently, his mouth was full...

Pfft.. me and my sudden short!hiatus...

He really couldn't blame the boy for stuffing his face with food. In all honesty, Armstrong couldn't even start imagining how life would be if simple things like eat and sleep were taken away from him. Alphonse was definitely the strongest kid he ever met, for coping with such a burden and still keep a positive attitude like he did.

"I say, you should live life at its fullest while you are... like this. It might not be the body you wanted, but if it gives you the ability to do what you've always wanted, you should use it." Armstrong was actually happy to see Alphonse in a real body, even if it was feminine one.

Alphonse swallowed, and then looked up at Armstrong with a smile. What he'd said definitely made sense, and Al wasn't about to pass up a perfectly good chance to check off a bunch of things on his list of 'things to do when I get my body back.'

Even still, he couldn't help but report back to Armstrong what he'd learned in the past few days. "It seems that this is not that abnormal of a thing, here. There are cards that if you touch them, they will temporarily change you."

That's really all the information he'd been able to gather, unfortunately.

[Aya, being a lover of sweets herself, made regular visits to candy shops such as the one Al was visiting now. Although she doesn't recognize him in his new body right away, she's a friendly sort and does see the impressive bag of candy he has. After making her own purchase, she smiles and joins him a conversational distance away at the fountain.]

It's good candy, isn't it?

[ At first, Al looks a little uncomfortable. He knows Aya, and so that makes the encounter just a little awkward. Does he just go along with the conversation without formally introducing himself, or does he make it known that he's actually someone she knows...? After a moment, he decides to just go with the flow. ]

Ah, I hope so. I've never had these before.

[ He's starting to sound relaxed, now. But there's still a hint of nervousness on his face. Mostly because, Al had never had to deal with facial expressions before. ]

[Aya pauses. She hasn't missed the discomfort and nervousness.]

I'm sorry. I startled you, didn't I? I'm Aya. It's okay if you don't care to talk.

Ah! Aya... this is...

[ Somehow, even though he was slowly beginning to get used to the fact that he was in a different body, it still felt awkward and uncomfortable to actually tell people who he really was. ]

...Al.
