Who: Ivan &
somarium!
Where: Espoir
Style: I'll gladly follow you!
Status: Open as can be, bb.
If one were to walk through the center plaza of Espoir early in the morning, they might just stumble upon a rather curious sight. No -- curious wasn't the word for it -- unsettling was more apt in describing the situation.

cut for possible spoilers through ep. 12 lololo. )

His aim's probably not too great at the moment, considering his injuries, but... watch out for those flying projectiles, Clonezart!]

You idiot! Are you trying to kill me!?

Ahh! I'm sorry! I thought you were... someone else... [It's a lame excuse, but it's the truth. As he speaks, Ivan takes in his surroundings, pushing himself up on his elbows for support. This definitely wasn't Jake Martinez' hideout. So the next question is --] Where am I?

[HMPH. Watch how he ignores all those apologies. As if such simple words could atone for what's been done. Mozart scoffs loudly, evidently expecting more than words from a half-dead super hero.]
This world is called Somarium.

[He trails off here, unsure of what to say to the irritated man. Even if he had heard of Mozart, let's be honest -- Ivan wouldn't care about him, sorry to say. After all, he's not Japanese. If he was Gackt or something, then he might recognize him.
Ivan's gonna be fully sitting up now, a confused look on his face.]
So this isn't Stern Bild then? How did I get here?
[Then a rather horrifying thought crosses his mind.]
I'm not dead... am I?

Somarium is a dream world. You enter this place through sleep. Death is often referred to as the eternal slumber, no? You certainly look the part.

Mozart's words cause a bit of a panic for the boy, and his eyes grow wide.]
So I am dead then... what a poor excuse for a Hero I must look like. I just hope I haven't caused any trouble for the others.
[Nice job Mozart, making the poor kid think he's dead when he's definitely not. This will do wonders for his already atrocious self-esteem.]

Hero? That's just ridiculous! What hero winds up in a place like this?

I... you're right. I'm no real Hero, like Tiger-san or Sky High. My NEXT power isn't even useful in saving lives.

[There's a laugh. He's stuck in the same boat and it sucks. But what can you do except laugh at the misfortune of others?]

[The slightest bit more hopeful:]
Ah, but you're saying that it is possible for others to leave? Maybe you'll get to go home soon then.
Reply
Perhaps... No doubt it will be sooner than you! [lolol] In any case, you're destined to be stuck here for a very long time. I'd suggest you get used to it.

That's true... [RUDE. Maybe he should cry with Mozart's face on.] I guess that's all I really can do. Ah, but, I'm Ivan. Ivan Karelin. It's... nice to meet you. [Except not really because you're a jerk. But that's okay, Ivan's a forgiving person.]

He taps his finger against his chin, assuming that this boy is from a different world. (It's the only explanation for those who are unfamiliar with his name, you see.) So perhaps he's original material from his world? This is important if Mozart is going to bother to remember his name. (He won't.)]
Are you anybody important?
Reply
Eh, he's probably heard of Mozart, but doesn't care too much -- unfortunate taste and all. Just try to educate him or something. (Spoilers: it probably won't work)]
Somebody important?
[Gdit Mozart, there go the self-esteem issues again. Guess who's gonna get charged with his therapy sessions? He frowns and avoids eye contact once more. Ivan's not about to reveal the whole 'Hero' thing just yet, but...]
I'm not really important at all, but I am a NEXT, if that's what you're asking.
