[A pissed, pink haired woman can be seen stalking with long and powerful strides through the area, whether it be in Espoir or Somni, that doesn’t matter. She has her weapon sheathed, but still in plain sight behind her long, flowing red cape. She looks to be in a rush, walking

He could remember being that pissed. Maybe even more so. Though stomping around like that he had to wonder if many would approach the young woman.
He shrugged his shoulders. Eh, why not. When she managed to remain still for longer than a minute he walked up behind her and spoke up, answering her ramblings.]
No such luck, I'm afraid. On both accounts.

She spins on her heel, and with an impressive display of quick reflexes and a series of mechanical ticks, the blazefire sabre is fitted just shy of his neck. And the woman is scowling, eyes burning holes in the back of his head.]
And what makes you say that?
Reply
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Calm down, lady. Just, uh... [Going to carefully try to push that blade aside with his hand.] Relax, okay? What kinda way is that to greet someone trying to help you?
Reply
So you're trying to help me, huh. [She folds her arms.] Then you can start by telling me where I am.
Reply
Yeah, nice to meet you too.
[Seriously. That will be the last time he gets near any of these new people.]
And since you asked so nicely-- you're in a place called Somarium. It's not part of where ever you're from, which I [Looks over her outfit.] doubt is Earth, and you can't leave. Think of it as that vacation you never wanted.
Reply
Sorry that I'm not in the best mood right now.
[Despite having just apologized, he hardly sounds all that apologetic. Take it at face value.
She gives him a dry look, she was already vacationing somewhere that she didn't want to be before showing up, no exit there either. This is nothing new... still annoying as Hell though.]
Nothing can keep me here. I need to get back, and I'll cut down anything that tries to stop me.

[He wasn't expecting that apology so he tried a more comforting approach, though he should probably apologize as well.]
Guess I shouldn't have come up behind you though. Sorry.
[And now for the part he hated- being the bearer of bad news. She sounded scary so he preempted her anger just in case she mistook him for such an obstacle.]
And, for the record, I'm not trying to stop you so let's not go swinging that obscenely large blade at my throat again, okay?
Now, ah, like I said before... you can't get out. At least not that I've found, but I'm still looking into that. Everyone here swears that it is impossible though.

[She nods at his apology.]
It was reflex, I'd have probably did that anyway.
[And that's Lightning, telling you that there's no reason to apologize. She has a funny way of saying these things.]
I'l keep it sheathed. [At his next comment, she huffs, clearly irritated.] They're all just not looking hard enough, then.
Reply
Yeah, probably. They just don't know what to look for and assuming my little trip pans out I might have some more information later. For right now you should try to settle in here. If there is a way out, it's not an easy one.
[So with that out of the way he should probably give you some bad news.]
So... got your phone?
Reply
Nothing's ever easy, is it? I don't feel the need to settle in somewhere temporary.
[Grumble, grumble. Ever the optimist. At his question, she shuffles through the red pack at her thigh, and hesitantly pulls the device out, like it's made of acid or something.
She holds it out, and glares at it wearily.]
You mean this, right? I woke up with it, why?

[Watching her handle it like it was going to bite her, Drake took his own out and moved to stand beside her, his shoulders touching hers, as he shows her the screen.]
It's, uh... [A universal term?] a communication device called a Dreamberry. You can talk to others with it by video, audio, or text messaging. [He shows her how to type on the screen then pulls up a list of names.] Also the contact list will let you see everyone that's currently here.
Now the downside is that this thing has a mind of its own. [He looks back at her and then back at the phone.] It will sometimes turn on and record you at really inconvenient times- so try not to have it in the room with you while you shower. [Now he goes onto the network and pulls up a random dream as proof.] It also records your dreams and ( ... )

So we just walk into a place, and that's it? No rent, no papers... nothing. [She lifts a hand to gently rub at the her temple.] This is ridiculous.
[She allows the man to come up next to her with his own nearly identical device, and listens as he lists everything that it can do off, periodically scrutinizing him with short glances over her shoulder.]
A Dreamberry. Text [points to the keyboard], video [points to the camera], and voice [points to the speaker and receiver]. It tells me who is and isn't here, it turns itself on... [and the kicker] and it records my dreams for public viewing.
[She repeats it all to affirm everything she had just been told, and to just process it all. Listening to it all in her own voice really hasn't removed how completely ludicrous it sounds. If anything, it makes her hate this place more. Turning itself on is one thing, but the complete and blatant disregard ( ... )

[He finds her stubbornness a bit amusing... mainly because it seems like this lady's strongest trait much like a certain someone else he knew. But he could feel that frustration and while there was no immediate fix... or even a fix at all at this point, he could at least ease her into this place so she wasn't so lost.
He listens to her verbally going over what he showed her. For someone who seemed like she had never seen a phone before she caught on quick. He pocketed his phone and gave her a quick smile.]
Good girl. I think you got it.
[Then he watched her kick the phone away a minute later and he had to suppress a chuckle. Just her expression and how serious she was about getting rid of the device was amusing. But he dared not laugh because her sword was really damned big, sharp, and pointy.
Of course he was amused because he had also done the same thing multiple times.]Well, now I think you just pissed it off. Too bad it won't work. The ( ... )

[She scoffs and rolls her eyes at being called a 'good girl' but she promised to keep her damn big, sharp and pointy sword out of sight. She's wearing brass knuckles though, mister, better watch the slang.]
So it can't be destroyed. Your attempts may have failed, but I'd like to try my hand at it. [She lifts her hand, and coils it into a tight fist. The hand might be glowing ominously.] I don't feel like waiting today.
[And she then throws that hand out, and a bolt of bright lightning appears out of seemingly nowhere to strike the device with a loud and resound clap. Her expression doesn't change, her eyebrows furrow slightly, but that's about all. Yup, nothing strange or out of the ordinary just happened.]

...Of course. Why not. He opens and closes his mouth a few times then looks back at her helplessly, and then back at the phone. And shrugs.]
Ah... yep. That's uh, that's exactly what I was expecting to happen. With the, uh, magical glowing fist. Thing. The cape kinda gave it away, too.
[Nervous chuckle. Pause. Oh, obviously. It was so obvious. He points a finger at her.]
I knew it. You're a superhero. So what's your name, huh? Storm? Cloud? Thunder? Lightning? ...Bolt Girl?
Reply
She just let's him ramble, eyes not leaving the device... until he calls her a superhero, and then stars spouting off names.]
A superhero? [She steps closer, and squints her eyes.] I'm the farthest thing from a superhero.
[A moment longer of glaring, before she scoffs and steps off a little, folding her arms tightly because throwing a fist sounds like a great idea right now, and this is her way of restraint. She turns away from him to again scrutinize the Dreamberry only meters away.]
And my name isn't Bolt Girl. [She's a little ticked that he did guess right.] It's Lightning. You'd do well to remember that.
