Who: Polka and Somarium Where: Lake Merdian Style: Starting in First but I'll follow you! Status: Open Warnings: Possible spoilers for anyone not played Eternal Sonata, mention of death.
[Seeing Polka at the lake while he was on a walk made him curious as to why she was there, but he arrives in due time to hear her last words and that causes him to look a bit hurt. After a few minutes of staying behind the tree he by, the man decides to walk towards the young girl and try to seem himself.]
Hello Polka, what are you doing out here all by yourself?
[Polka jumps slightly, startled by hearing a familiar voice. Did that mean he heard what she said? At least she could relax because she knew he knew about her illness and her magic.. somewhat at least]
I-I just came here to think, that's all [She hadn't even clear the tears off her cheeks and her eyes were obviously still wet, but she tries her best to smile and make it seem like everything was okay] I-it's a nice day, isn't it?
[Frederic could see the tears rolling down Polka's face and her wet eyes, that showed him something was wrong and so he came closer to her. Instead of saying anything though at first, he only takes her into a gentle embrace and holds her close. Then he speaks in a soft whisper to the girl.]
Please don't feel as though you are alone, I promise to be here for you.
[A small smile appeared on Polka's face. He always knew how to calm her down, or cheer her up. She was still upset though, but just hearing those words helped]
B-but Frederic [her voice is softer than before, more scared] My magic is still here... t-that's bad right?
[She knew that he no longer had to worry about that any more, but she did!] I-I don't want to lose anyone.
[He continued holding onto her then pulled away for a moment to look at her with a slightly serious expression.]
Polka, I...still have my magic as well. I do not know why or for what reason, yet in this world I think us having magic does not mean we will die. [His expression softens to a gentle smile.] Everything will be all right, I promise.
I understand your worry and why you're frightened, since everything here is so much different in our world compared to here. [He keeps trying his best to comfort her.] However, I know you can be strong since I've seen you overcome fears before.
[Polka's fears seemed to almost completely wash away at that moment. She felt more relaxed and knew that he was right and there wasn't anything to worry about. Of course, that didn't mean she wasn't still worried, but that she knew as long as she could talk to Frederic, she'd be fine]
T-thank you [she whispers] I-I guess I forgot about how strong I can be.

If it's all right, I wish to invite you over for some tea and cakes at Mister Austria's mansion. Of course that's only if you're up to it.
