Who: Polka and Somarium
Where: Lake Merdian
Style: Starting in First but I'll follow you!
Status: Open
Warnings: Possible spoilers for anyone not played Eternal Sonata, mention of death.

[Polka had made her way here to the lakeside, where she was just gently splashing her feet in the water while thinking aloud]

I wonder... is it only in my dreams that my magic works? or is it in this world too? [Polka knew that there was times she really wanted to use her magic in the world to help people, especially since magic didn't seem as uncommon here but it still made her worry.

If her magic indeed worked in this world, did that mean she was still going to die? No matter how brave she acted alone prior to her trip to Forte, she was still afraid of her own death, even just the tiniest bit.]

I might as well try [She took her time to come to this conclusion, but she needed to know.

Pulling her umbrella beside her into her hands, Polka stood up near the edge of the water] Here goes nothing.

Earth Heal! [a bright green light appeared onto the ground where she stood, and she could feel any injuries fading away with her healing magic.

But once the light was over, Polka didn't seem her usual happy or strong self. Her eyes filled with tears.]

I.. I don't want to die [she whimpers softly] I.. I'd miss everyone so much [she remembered this was the same feeling she had when she jumped off the cliff prior to arriving in Somarium too. Even though her resolve to save the world was strong, she was still a teenage girl that wanted to live her life]

[OOC: Sorry if this seems out of character for Polka, I know she has a rather strong resolve and doesn't often show a weakness to her (other than her kindness perhaps) however, she is still a young girl in my eyes and I think somewhere in the back of her mind, she doesn't want to die. This is going to lead up to that big plot I've been talking about on plurk, but I'll discuss that when I am ready as I want my fellow ES castmate to have their say]
