Canon Update
There are two ways a person can canon update their character:
- Dream Update: Basically the character has a dream of everything that happens up until the point you want to update them to. [ Seeing as I'm DOWNdating I'm not sure what to put here besides his history up to the point he'll be at from now on. Hopefully this works orz. ]
Gilbert first started out as the Teutonic order, being the personification of the band of knights he was only a half-pint running around waving a sword in the air and yelling random boastful comments about how great he was while his best friend(At the time) Hungary would half the time send him off to protect her borders. So yes life was great- burning pagans at the stake and or drowning them through a trail by water or two. Growing up a little more Gilbert had his own troubles when it came to cheating Poland's ruling and when dealing with the pagans of Lithuania - soon enough they caught up with him and had him cornered until they... decided farming before winter was more important than finishing off a cornered Teutonic order within a church. Fast forward a few centuries and from that meddling Poland and Lithuania- Gilbert lost his purpose as the band of Teutonic knights and therefore grew up into becoming Prussia for the first time.
"It has been said that Prussia is not a country with an army, but an army with a country." This saying could not be truer for the overconfident nation that spent his prime kicking ass and taking names along the two other bullies known as France and Spain where he spent the most of his time dominating over anyone who got in his way- fast forward to WWII and Prussia isn't so buddy buddy with -- just about anyone save his little Brother Germany whom he affectionately calls West and a cute little Italian along with the distant Japan. During this period in his 'history' we mostly see his grown obsession with Austria, Austria is everything he isn't- and the perfect person for him to torment with silly pranks to outright war- Prussia spends his time 'productively' stalking the other nation waiting for the perfect moment to jump out and yell insults from the bush he was hiding in- to playing pranks and setting Austria up. In this period of his life he has a obsession with exerting his dominance, he LOVES to fight and holds no reservations about holding back from it. Men fight! Being the military nation he is-- there is nothing more fun than to plot battle plans and attempt to get a upper hand over his enemies. He is a villain- and considers himself taken more seriously in this time than later down the road-he still has his ‘claws’ in the form of being a ‘nation’ still and his ignorance and outright denial of his future (should others try to shove it in his face) is met with a laugh and probably a punch to the face.
All in all he is in his prime in history at this moment and won't let anything get in his way besides his damn huge ego.

The only changes here are the fact he isn't as friendly and easy to over power. His ego is as big as it can get right now and he loves nothing more than being loud and in charge! To-- even playing some pranks on the side upon Austria and his little broter. He's stil got his sense of selfish humor that only he seems to laugh at.
Another thing is he holds nothing against causing pain to others and in fact probably enjoys it.
[Abilities]
He's got the same abilities as before only-- he utilizes them, what with being a 'nation' still. He's also probably stronger since he has a sense of individuality with having his own land, people, and nationality. Hey not being just lumped with Germany has it’s perks.
