Good night. I don't want to go into epic detail cause I gotta go to bed. But it was a good night. Even though there was freakin' NO ONE at the dance! There was a big blues dance in Pleasant Grove and everyone went there. Well, everyone but Little Japanese Guy, Really Tall Guy, Captain Intense, and a new guy we shall call...Thor. Thor gets his name from the strength of his lead. Cause...wow. When that boy wants you somewhere, you go. Whether you want to or not. Which is not to say that he isn't fun. Just...intense! He freakin' dipped me to the floor! The floor, people! And when you're done, you're exhausted. Anyway, Benito showed up right at the very end and we had a nice dance. I hate the dang mirrors on the wall there in the RB! Why do I hate them? Because freakin' Benito can watch us dancing together and say "Ooh! That looked good!" when he dips me, which makes me all kinds of embarassed. I mean, yay he thought I looked good doing a dip. But most of the time I don't look good and I don't want him seeing all that! Or anyone else either! And that includes me most of all. Especially tonight because it was one of the shlumpy nights when you look bad. You know, the t-shirt that looked great on you last week is now awful. Same with your favorite jeans. That was tonight. Good thing the fella wasn't there. Well, not really cause I had this epic plan in place to invite him to go see Where the Wild Things Are with me (which I MUST see people!). I guess I'll have to put that into effect later on.
Anyway, this is getting too detailed. The point is that even though the dance was kinda lame, we all (and by we all I mean Benito, Aimee, me, Annie, and Captain Intense of all people) went to Village Inn because I wanted pie. Pumpkin, to be exact. They had this pumpkin cheesecake as a sample at work today and it set me craving real bad. Anyway, we were there for forever with our super cool waiter Taran. Crazy Joaquin and Laura showed up eventually and we told Chuck Norris jokes and discussed scary movies. Turns out Captain Intense loves Firefly. This means, of course, that I have to like him a little bit. Well, after tonight, when he stopped being so...Captain Intense...he seemed like a pretty cool guy. We seem to both be equally into movies. I'm pretty sure he will stil bug me (when he and Aimee dropped me off he said "bye honey"...) but I think we can be friends now. Anyway, I'ma go to bed now. My eyes are closing of their own volition at this point.
