My Spring Break Comes with Eight Inches of Snow!

Mar 08, 2009 22:29

Up in Wisconsin visiting my Dad, earning some money, enjoying the eight inches of snow. It's good to see a lot of these people again, and they're pretty happy to have me. They thought they'd have to wait till summer. But I'm only here till Wednesday, and then I'm going to Wheaton to spend time with Sara, Sydney Ryan, and Sara's family. I'm pretty pumped. I get to finally see Chicago and hopefully Tolkien's desk in Wheaton... I'm just trying to be not too big of a nuisance :P

I needed this break too. Todorova is killing me with her unbeatable grading scale. I finally got a new job at Transy sitting in the Morlan Gallery and making sure no one steals anything (I've got a purpose again!) I just have to get through these next two months of biology, popular fictions, papers, and Todorova and I'll be off to Italy, Croatia and Slovenia! Got my passport and my dreams in a suitcase waiting... And Dream Girl is coming up in April, which is a four day vacation to a few cabins in Gatlinberg with my best friends and my best gal. Who can say no to this?

Just got to get through the bad to get to the good. But this week it's all good, so I'll catch you all later. I need to dive headfirst into William Faulkner's Absolam! Absolam! A book that doesn't believe in paragraphs. Oh boy...
